laryngoscope - #17484
For the past few weeks, I’ve been having a persistent sore throat, and it feels like there’s something stuck in my throat when I swallow. Sometimes my voice also gets hoarse, and I struggle to speak for long periods. I thought it was just a minor throat infection, but even after taking lozenges and home remedies, it hasn’t improved much. I went to an ENT specialist, and they suggested using a laryngoscope to check my throat and vocal cords. The idea of a laryngoscope being inserted into my throat makes me really nervous. I’ve never had such a procedure before, and I’m worried about discomfort or pain during the examination. Before going for the laryngoscope test, I wanted to ask if Ayurveda has any treatments for throat inflammation or chronic hoarseness. Could this be caused by excessive Pitta or an imbalance in my doshas? Are there any Ayurvedic remedies that could heal my throat naturally, so I might not even need the laryngoscope test? Also, if I do end up needing the laryngoscope test, are there any Ayurvedic practices to reduce irritation or speed up healing afterward? Has anyone else gone through something similar and found relief through Ayurveda? Any advice would really help!
