First off, it’s great that you want to prepare your body before trying for a baby. With vata imbalance and such symptoms, emphasis on stabilizing agni (your digestive fire) is key. It affects all those things — digestion, nutrient absorption, even your fibroids and kidney stones. For your erratic bowel movements, using Virechana (purgation therapy) might be beneficial. It's traditionally used in Ayurveda to balance doshas and clean out the body. But you shouldn’t do it alone — it needs a trained practitioner. It involves a special diet and herbal preparations, so jumpin’ into that without guidance would not be safe. Meanwhile, you can start by eating warm, cooked meals, avoiding raw and cold foods, cause they’re vata-aggravating. Spices like cumin, ginger, fennel, and coriander can help stimulate digestion. Now, about those kidney calculi and fibroid... Ayurveda often sees them as accumulation issues. Drinking plenty of warm water with lemon might help keep things moving. Also, Gokshura and Punarnava herbs are said to be good for the kidneys. Again, talk to an expert for doses. For anemia, add iron-rich foods: leafy greens, raisins, dates – maybe cook in iron pots? Ayurvedic formulations like Lohasava (iron tonic) could assist, with proper supervision of course, especially since you're preparing for pregnancy. While adjusting your diet, begin with moderate yoga to nurture body-mind balance. Poses like supta baddha konasana can be calming for vata types and potentially supportive during pre-conception. Lastly, the baby planning! Having a well-balanced body, mind, and environment will support natural conception when you're ready. But remember, regular check-ups with your gynecologist should aid in consistently monitoring those fibroids and any evolving needs as you tread toward this new journey. Make sure your physician is a part of this holistic plan, so all aspects of your health are covered.
