To address hairfall, let’s start by examining your dosha balance. Hairfall often links to an imbalance in the pitta dosha, sometimes aggravated by excessive heat or stress. To cool the scalp, homemade remedies such as applying coconut oil can work wonders. Warm up a small amount, and massage it gently into your scalp before rinsing off the next morning. This not only nourishes the hair but can calm the pitta. Include amla (Indian gooseberry) in your routine—either consume it directly or apply as a paste with water; it’s renowned for strengthening hair roots.

As for your skin, dullness can sometimes indicate an accumulation of toxins or poor circulation. Improve your agni, or digestive fire, by drinking warm water throughout the day and eating light meals that are easy to digest. To naturally cleanse the skin and restore glow, create a face mask using besan (gram flour) mixed with a pinch of turmeric and a little milk. Evenly apply it on your face, let it dry and wash gently in a circular motion. It should enhance your skin’s natural shine and keep it fair and fresh.

Incorporating some exercise can also help; yoga, particularly poses like Surya Namaskar, boosts both circulation and the feeling of vitality.

Consider herbal teas, like Holy Basil or turmeric-based formulations, which help detoxify and boost complexion. Sunscreen is crucial to protect against sun exposure. Pay attention to hydration—consume at least eight glasses of water daily, it prevents dryness and supports skin health.

Lastly, try to avoid sleep deprivation or excessive screentime at night. A rested body exudes natural beauty. These habits will rejuvenate your skin, making it glowing and fresh over time. Remember consistency is key, embrace these changes gently and steadily.

Hairfall and dull skin is often a manifestation of imbalances within the body’s doshas — primarily vata and pitta, which can be regulated through targeted lifestyle changes and natural remedies. Firstly, for hairfall, focus on nourishing the scalp and balancing vata and pitta doshas. You can massage the scalp with warm sesame oil or bhringraj oil three times a week. This stimulates blood flow and strengthens hair roots. Consider preparing a paste with fenugreek seeds. Soak a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds overnight, grind them in the morning and apply the paste onto your scalp. Leave it for about an hour and rinse off with water.

Your diet also plays a critical role. Include more iron and protein-rich foods such as spinach, lentils, almonds, and yogurt. Stay hydrated as well, this supports the health of both hair and skin. To tackle dull skin, enhancing your internal glow through diet and external care is key. Masoor dal flour mixed with milk works wonders as a face pack. Apply it two to three times a week to improve skin texture and clarity.

In terms of daily habits, practice a trispecial breathing exercises like alternate nostril breathing (nadi shodhana) which aids in reducing stress and balancing energy within the body. Morning sunlight exposure and abhyanga (self-massage) with suitable oils aligned with your prakriti can elevate skin health.

If there’s acute or sudden hair loss alongside other symptoms, it’s wise to consult with a healthcare professional, as this might require immediate attention. Tailor these steps to fit comfortably within your daily routines for sustainable outcomes.
