Hello Imon, I understand the distress and frustration you’re feeling, and I want to assure you that you’re not alone. Erectile dysfunction, reduced stamina, and concerns about size can be influenced by many factors, including stress, diet, lifestyle, and emotional health. Ayurveda focuses on balancing the mind and body, improving circulation, and supporting overall vitality. It’s important to look at your lifestyle habits, stress levels, and any possible imbalances in your doshas that may be affecting your sexual health. Could you share any recent medical reports, including hormone levels or any tests related to sexual health? Additionally, I’d like to understand your diet, exercise routine, and mental well-being, as these factors play a significant role in improving sexual health.
Yes, Doctor, my recent medical report including hormone and blood levels are normal in range, and I didn’t go for any sexual-related test. I am not following any specific diet in my food consumption. I don’t get that much time to do regular exercise (as I become busy with my official work), and mentally well-fit.
1.Ashwagandha churna-Half teaspoon with warm milk at night 2.tab. Yavuanamrita vati - One twice daily after food with warm milk Let me know if further you need any food modification and Yogasanas which will further help you in improving the above problem
First off, it’s important to understand you’re not alone in this - many men face similar issues especially when they are newly married and navigating new expectations. Don’t be hard on yourself. Ayurveda can certainly offer you some guidance, grounded in the principles of dosha balancing and strengthening your essence, or ojas, which is crucial for sustaining energy and vigor.
One of the key things I’d suggest is to look at your diet and lifestyle - they play huge part on sexual health. Ensure you’re including foods that are known as “Vrishya” or aphrodisiacs in Ayurveda. Things like ghee, milk, nuts (especially almonds and walnuts), and honey can be quite beneficial. Avoid foods that increase “rajas” and “tamas” - those would be fried, processed, and overly spicy foods.
Herbs can help too. Take Ashwagandha for instance - it’s known for strengthening sexual vitality, and overall stamina. You could take it as a powder, around half a teaspoon, mixed with warm milk at night.
Also look at Shatavari and Kaunch beej, which aid in boosting libido and energy levels. But keep the dosha in mind, some of these have a heating effect which might not suit someone with a Pitta imbalance, so it’s a good idea to consult an Ayurvedic physician near you for personalized advice.
Don’t underrate the power of focusing on stress and mental peace as well — practices like meditation, Swara Yoga (breathwork), or light exercises like yoga can enhance your state of mind and help you maintain energy through physical intimacy. And sleep, good sleep is unarguably an essential part in this picture.
As for the concern on size - try to remember that acceptance and confidence in who you are is key, it’s how you connect with your partner emotionally and spiritually that truly matters. Communication with your wife and expressing how you feel might surprisingly strengthen your bond.
If feelings of guilt persist or overwhelm, seeking the guidance of a therapist could also be beneficial. Remember, improvement might take time, be patient with yourself, and be open to trying different suggestions to find what works for for your body.
