Hi Saqib,

Can you tell me if you experience any other symptoms like stress, fatigue, or anxiety, especially related to sexual performance? How is your overall digestion and energy levels? Do you have any history of heart or blood pressure issues?

In Ayurveda, premature ejaculation can be related to Vata imbalance or excessive Pitta. To improve sexual health, herbs like Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Gokshura are effective in enhancing vitality and stamina. Kapikacchu (Mucuna pruriens) is also known to improve sexual performance. A balanced diet with warm, nourishing foods, along with regular practice of Yoga and Pranayama for stress relief, can also help.

Understood, let’s explore a holistic Ayurvedic approach to address these concerns. Premature ejaculation (PE) and erectile dysfunction (ED) can be rooted in several factors, including stress, lifestyle, or certain dosha imbalances. In Ayurveda, it often relates to imbalances in vata or pitta doshas.

Firstly, diet plays a crucial role. Incorporate plenty of warming and nourishing foods such as ghee, milk, almonds, dates, and whole grains. Foods like garlic and onions are particularly beneficial for boosting libido and strength. Avoid excessive consumption of spicy, salty, or overly sour foods, which might increase pitta and affect your overall vitality.

For lifestyle, prioritize a routine that incorporates regular activities such as walking or yoga, focusing on postures that increase pelvic strength and overall relaxation. Pranayama, especially Anulom Vilom and Bhramari, help in calming the mind, reducing stress, and strengthening sexual function. Try to keep a consistent sleep schedule with at least 7-8 hours of sleep a night.

Herbal supplements also offer significant help. Ashwagandha, known for its rejuvenating properties, improves stamina and reduces anxiety. Safed Musli and Shatavari may enhance sexual potency and vitality. You can infuse these herbs in milk and consume them daily, preferably in the morning.

Abhyanga, a self-massage using warm sesame oil, is very grounding, and balancing for vata. Apply the oil before your morning shower, massaging it briskly into your skin, and leave for 15 minutes.

Remember, try not to underestimate the psychological aspect. Stress, anxiety, and performance pressure can also exacerbate these issues. It might be helpful to openly communicate with your partner about you concerns, sometimes this truly helps the both of you feel understood and connected.

Finally, considering you’ve mentioned using medications like viagra, it’s essential to discuss any ayurvedic herbs or practices with your healthcare provider to ensure there’s no interferance with current treatments. If issues persist or are significantly impacting your life, seeking specialized guidance from an experienced practitioner might be necessary. Balance often takes time to achieve, so be patient with yourself during this journey.
