Considering your situation, the priority remains seeking advice from a doctor, ensuring you have the proper medical evaluation. Abnormal bleeding and spotting can stem from various reasons, some benign but others might require urgent attention.

In terms of Ayurveda, addressing menstrual irregularities often focuses on balancing the doshas, primarily Vata and Pitta, which can cause these issues when imbalanced. Here are some steps you might find helpful:

1. Dietary Adjustments: Focus on a Vata-Pitta pacifying diet. Include warm, cooked foods, like soups and stews, which are gentle on the digestive system. Favor sweet, bitter, and astringent tastes and reduce spicy, salty, and sour tastes. Foods like rice, ghee, and fresh vegetables are ideal.

2. Herbal Remedies: Ashoka (Saraca indica) and Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) are widely revered for women’s reproductive health. You can try taking these herbs in either powder or capsule form as they may help balance the reproductive system, but consult a local Ayurvedic practitioner to determine the right dosage.

3. Lifestyle Modifications: Ensure you have a regular routine with an emphasis on stress management. Yoga and Pranayama (breathing exercises) can be beneficial, particularly poses like Baddha Konasana and Janu Sirsasana, which support reproductive health.

4. Hydration: Keep yourself well-hydrated, but avoid cold or refrigerated drinks. Opt for warm water or herbal teas made from fennel or cumin seeds, which aid in digestion and may support hormonal balance.

5. Oil Massage: Regular self-massage with warm sesame oil can calm Vata. Pay particular attention to the lower abdomen and back, which might alleviate discomfort and promote relaxation.

Keep in mind, symptoms like heavy bleeding can sometimes signal a serious condition, so if they persist or worsen, make sure to reach out to a healthcare provider immediately. Your safety and well-being always come first.
