Alright, sounds like there's quite the mix of things you're dealing with there. It’s common with PCOD (or PCOS as it's often called now) to face these issues. Let’s break it down Ayurvedically. First up, your weight gain. Often with PCOD, kapha dosha imbalance is at play. To help with this, focus on a kapha-pacifying diet. It means light, warm foods—think soups, stews, cooked veggies. Avoid dairy and heavy foods like breads and refined sugars. Spice it up a bit! Ginger, turmeric, cumin, and cinnamon can be your best friends here. Irregular periods often need a boost to the agni, or your digestive fire. Include digestive aids like a little bit of lemon juice and warm water first thing in the morning. Triphala is a fantastic herbal remedy for balancing digestion and helping with constipation. A teaspoon of triphala churna with warm water at bedtime can be tried but, do check if it suits you. Your facial skin might be responding to internal heat and toxins—pitta dosha may be high. Lots of hydration is key! Drink ample water, but try infusing it with mint or fennel seeds. Aloe vera juice can help cool things down internally, just a small glass in the morning can reduce that heat. Don't underestimate the power of routine—sleep and wake up at the same times each day, eat at regular intervals. It can really help. Also sneak in some gentle exercise, like yoga or brisk walking, every day to get things flowing. For stress, which doesn’t help any bit of this, consider meditation or deep-breathing exercises. They can calm your nervous system and might help those hormones to balance themselves out. Remember, everyone’s elaborately unique. If these things don't seem to make headway, it’s really best to chat with an Ayurvedic practitioner who can look at your specifics. Don’t wait too long especially if symptoms are severe, better safe than sorry!
