I am currently working as an Associate Professor and Ayurvedic Consultant at a reputed Ayurvedic medical college in Karnataka. My dual role in academics and clinical practice allows me to stay deeply connected with both the foundational principles of Ayurveda and their real-world application in patient care. With years of experience in teaching and treating patients, I have developed a strong grounding in classical Ayurvedic texts as well as hands-on expertise in managing a wide spectrum of health conditions. In my academic role, I am involved in mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, guiding them through theoretical understanding, clinical training, and practical application of Ayurvedic medicine. I actively participate in departmental research, workshops, and case discussions, fostering a learning environment that emphasizes both scientific inquiry and traditional wisdom. As a consultant, I provide holistic Ayurvedic care for chronic lifestyle disorders, musculoskeletal problems, women’s health issues, gastrointestinal diseases, and skin disorders. My treatment plans are deeply personalized, based on a thorough assessment of Prakriti (body constitution) and Vikriti (imbalance), integrating herbal medicine, Panchakarma therapies, dietary advice, and preventive health strategies. I strongly believe in the importance of patient education and preventive care. Whether I am managing a complex condition or offering day-to-day wellness support, my aim is always to treat the root cause and promote long-term healing. I also collaborate with fellow practitioners and students to stay updated with advancements in Ayurvedic research and contribute meaningfully to the field. My commitment lies in offering authentic, evidence-based, and compassionate Ayurvedic care while nurturing the next generation of Ayurveda professionals with the same values.

Low sperm mobility can be a tricky issue, even if everythig else is in great shape. In Ayurveda, we often look at dhatus (tissues) and dosha imbalances that might contribute. For improving motility, think about balancing the Vata dosha – it's all about movement, right? Start with your diet, something simple. Include more sweet, sour, and salty tastes, but easy on the salt, this might help pacifying Vata. Go for foods that nourish the shukra dhatu (reproductive tissue). Include almonds, walnuts, sesame seeds, and fresh fruits like bananas and figs. Also, milk is good – incorporate a glass with a pinch of saffron at night; it’s said to be great for the reproductive systems. Herbs can help too. Ashwagandha and Shatavari are favorites for supporting male health. Ashwagandha, in particular, is known to support vitality and stamina. Shatavari acts as a rasayana, rejuvenating the system, you could try 1 tsp of its powder with warm milk once a day. And then there's Gokshura for general reproductive health; you might want to discuss this with a practitioner, tailor it to your specific constitution. Stress, of course, can wreck havoc on bodily systems. Daily practices like meditation, or even yoga, can ease any underlying tension. The poses that are particularly beneficial are Sarvangasana and other inversions. But always if you can, under a trained instructor to prevent injury. Don’t overlook daily habits. Avoid too much hot water, saunas, or hot tubs – heat isn’t too great for sperm speed. Definitely remember to stay hydrated – it's basic but crucial. One more thing, ensure your digestion is firing (Agni), improper digestion can hamper the nourishment of dhatus. Use cumin, coriander, and fennel in cooking, and possibly a bit of ghee to keep agni balanced without aggravating doshas. But hey, if you think there's something more serious going on, or if you're worried, don't hesitate to see a fertility specialist, just in case.

If there is no other health issues Take 1.Chyawanprash (daily tonic – 1–2 teaspoons in morning) 2.Speman tablets (Himalaya company – improves sperm parameters; 2 tablets tywice daily Or Addyzoa capsules (Charak company – specific for sperm motility; 1capsules twice daily) Take these for at least 3 months to see maximum results. Combine with good diet (milk, ghee, almonds, dates, pumpkin seeds). Avoid spicy, sour, heavy junk foods. Also add some simple yoga poses. Consulting a trainer

With over three years of clinical experience in a neuro-psychiatric hospital, I have developed a deep understanding of mental health and neurological disorders. My work involved supporting patients with a wide range of conditions such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, insomnia, and neurodegenerative diseases, using a combination of traditional Ayurvedic principles and evidence-based care. I take a holistic approach, addressing both the physical and psychological aspects of health, and prioritize personalized therapies that support long-term recovery and emotional well-being. In addition to my neuro-psychiatric work, I have six months of hands-on experience in emergency trauma care, where I was trained to respond quickly and effectively to acute medical situations. This experience strengthened my diagnostic abilities, crisis management skills, and reinforced the importance of timely intervention and integrative support in critical care settings. I also spent over a year in a fertility department, where I worked closely with couples dealing with infertility, menstrual irregularities, hormonal imbalances, and other reproductive health concerns. My focus was on restoring reproductive function using Ayurvedic treatments such as Uttarabasti, Rasayana therapy, and lifestyle modifications, always guided by the patient’s unique prakriti and health history. These diverse clinical experiences have shaped my practice into one that is compassionate, detail-oriented, and grounded in both tradition and clinical precision. Whether treating neurological concerns, supporting fertility, or responding to acute trauma, I am committed to offering ethical, individualized, and effective care that promotes lasting wellness.
