I am really confused about which is better, ashwagandha or shilajit. Lately, I've been feeling so tired, like I have no energy at all. A friend suggested I try ashwagandha, saying it's great for boosting strength and helping with stress. But then, I heard about shilajit, and people say it’s even more powerful! For the last few months, I've been experiencing this weird fatigue, and my body aches pretty often. It’s frustrating because I’m usually so active. So, I thought, why not try natural remedies? Isn’t that what Ayurveda is all about? So here I am, wondering, which is better? It works very well for individuals experiencing fatigue or mental exhaustion as it can help balance Vata and Kapha doshas.

Shilajit, on the other hand, is a mineral-rich compound that’s renowned for promoting energy and vitality, supporting digestion, and boosting the immune system. It is praised for increasing strength and stamina, particularly in Pitta and Vata imbalances, and is considered a powerhouse for enhancing overall vitality.

Now, for someone experiencing fatigue and body aches, a tailored approach is best. If stress and mental tiredness are significant factors, ashwagandha may be the better starting point. It can be consumed as a powder mixed with warm milk and honey, preferably at night, for calming and restorative effects. Aim for about 500mg to 1g initially.

Conversely, shilajit is typically a good choice if physical energy and enhanced vigor is a priority. It’d best taken as a resin or powder, mixed with warm water or milk, about 300mg, once daily in the morning, to optimize energy levels. It’s essential to allow at least a couple of weeks to observe noticeable changes, ensuring consistent usage.
