With over 18 years of dedicated Ayurvedic practice, I have focused extensively on treating skin and hair disorders, integrating classical Panchakarma therapies with individualized care. A major aspect of my clinical approach involves Upakarma procedures—supportive therapies within Panchakarma—which I customize based on each patient’s Prakriti (constitutional type). I believe true healing begins when treatments are aligned with the body’s natural balance, and this philosophy guides every aspect of my work. My specialization includes the preparation and use of Ayurvedic formulations that I personally design, including face packs, hair packs, body oils, and facial oils—each one carefully selected and recommended according to the patient’s specific dosha and skin/hair condition. These formulations are result-oriented and rooted in time-tested Ayurvedic principles, ensuring safe, natural, and sustainable outcomes. In my practice, Ayurvedic facials are more than just cosmetic procedures; they are therapeutic treatments tailored to the unique constitution of each individual, aiming to restore inner and outer harmony. By incorporating dosha-based skincare routines and traditional beauty therapies, I help patients achieve visible improvement in conditions like pigmentation, acne, hair fall, and premature aging—without relying on chemical-based solutions. My goal is to blend classical Ayurveda with a practical, patient-focused approach. Whether managing chronic skin concerns, offering customized herbal solutions, or delivering rejuvenative Panchakarma therapies, I ensure each treatment is deeply personalized, holistic, and rooted in authentic Ayurvedic wisdom.

Addressing your concern about gaining weight, especially when experiencing prior digestive issues like acidity and indigestion, can be approached through the Ayurvedic perspective by focusing on balancing your doshas and improving your agni, or digestive fire. You mentioned practicing regular exercise, which is commendable, but let's explore some tailored recommendations that align with Ayurveda. Firstly, since you've dealt with digestive issues, it could signify an imbalance in your Vata dosha, given your light weight and potential stress factors. It's vital to ensure your agni is strong since poor digestion can hinder nutrient absorption, which is crucial for healthy weight gain. Begin your day with a glass of warm water with a teaspoon of ghee. The warming and nourishing properties support digestion and provide calories. Breakfast is essential, opt for foods like kitchari or lightly spiced oatmeal which are gentle on the stomach. Lunch should be your largest meal, try to include cooked vegetables, grains, and legumes, all seasoned with digestion-enhancing spices like cumin, fennel, and ginger. The inclusion of good fats, like sesame oil or coconut oil, will also help in improving prakriti and gaining healthy weight. Dinner should be lighter than lunch, ensuring every meal is well-cooked and warm to promote easy digestion. Avoid eating late at night as it can lead to indigestion. Ashwagandha can be a beneficial herb for you, taken with warm milk. It's known for improving strength and vitality. However, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner to ensure it's suitable for your specific constitution. Yoga and meditation are excellent for managing stress. Excessive Vata can result in feelings of anxiety and nervousness, affecting weight. Balancing activities like Pranayama and mindfulness can aid in creating a harmonious environment for your body and mind. Lastly, it's important that any sudden or severe digestive issues should be discussed with a healthcare professional, to rule out any underlying conditions requiring urgent intervention. Prioritizing balance in diet, routine and lifestyle according to Ayurvedic principles should harmonize your body's internal state and support healthy weight gain.
