In Ayurveda, this combination is considered a viruddha ahara (incompatible food), which may cause indigestion, acidity, or gas. –Prepare milk like this: Ingredients 1 cup milk 1 pinch turmeric (Haldi) 4–5 Munakka (seedless if possible) 1–2 cardamom (Elaichi, slightly crushed) -Preparation Add all ingredients to milk. Boil for 3–5 minutes. Let it become lukewarm. Drink slowly. -Benefits Turmeric reduces stomach inflammation Munakka helps soothe acidity and constipation Cardamom reduces gas and improves digestion —Do not eat or drink: Spicy food Fried food Tea or coffee Citrus fruits Cold drinks — Sit Upright Do not lie down immediately. Sit or walk slowly for 15–20 minutes. —Simple Ayurvedic Relief You can chew: ½ tsp fennel seeds (saunf) or A small piece of jaggery These reduce acidity naturally.
