Doctors' responses

–The Rectum is the last part of the large intestine in the digestive system. –It stores stool (poop) before it leaves the body. When the rectum fills up, it sends signals to the brain that you need to go to the bathroom. –Important points: It is part of the digestive system, not the reproductive system. Both males and females have a rectum. It does not have a role in getting pregnant. — next question -Pregnancy occurs when a sperm cell from a man fertilizes an egg from a woman. -The Menstrual cycle is the monthly cycle in the female body that prepares for pregnancy. Typical cycle: about 28 days (but 21–35 days can be normal). ---- NXT question - Pregnancy usually lasts about 9 months (around 40 weeks). Doctors measure pregnancy weeks starting from the first day of the last period.
