To address gastritis and associated symptoms like ribcage pain, back pain, chest pain, and heart palpitations, Ayurveda recommends balancing Pitta dosha and strengthening the digestive system. Here’s a comprehensive Ayurvedic approach: Dietary Recommendations: Foods to Include: Cooling foods: Coconut water, cucumber, sweet fruits like ripe bananas, pomegranate, and melons. Easily digestible grains: White rice, quinoa, and barley. Vegetables: Cooked zucchini, pumpkin, and leafy greens. Spices for digestion: Small amounts of cumin, fennel, coriander, and turmeric. Ghee: A teaspoon of ghee on warm rice or in cooked vegetables to soothe the stomach lining. Buttermilk: Diluted buttermilk with a pinch of cumin and coriander powder aids digestion. Foods to Avoid: Spicy, sour, oily, or fried foods. Acidic foods: Tomatoes, citrus fruits, vinegar. Stimulants: Coffee, tea, and alcohol. Packaged, processed, and overly salty foods. Raw vegetables and heavy-to-digest foods like beans or lentils. Lifestyle Adjustments: Eating Habits: Eat small, frequent meals to avoid overburdening your stomach. Avoid eating late at night. Chew food slowly and thoroughly. Do not lie down immediately after eating; keep a gap of 2–3 hours before sleeping. Daily Routine: Wake up early (preferably around 6 AM) and drink a glass of warm water with a pinch of turmeric or fennel seeds to support digestion. Practice mindful relaxation techniques like Pranayama (Nadi Shodhana or Anulom Vilom) to reduce stress, which aggravates Pitta. Ayurvedic Remedies: Aloe Vera Juice: Take 2 tablespoons of aloe vera juice daily on an empty stomach to cool inflammation. Herbal Infusions: Cumin-Fennel Tea: Boil 1 teaspoon of cumin and fennel seeds in a cup of water and drink it warm after meals. Licorice Root Tea: Licorice soothes the stomach lining and reduces acidity. Triphala Powder: Take 1 teaspoon of Triphala with warm water at night to support digestion and detoxify. Amla (Indian Gooseberry): Eat 1 teaspoon of Amla powder with honey in the morning for its anti-inflammatory and cooling effects. Shatavari: Take 1 teaspoon of Shatavari powder with warm milk or water to heal the stomach lining. External Remedies for Pain: Warm Compress: Apply a warm compress to the chest and ribcage area to ease pain. Castor Oil Pack: Apply castor oil to the abdomen and cover it with a warm cloth to reduce inflammation and discomfort. For Migraines and Urticaria: Avoid Triggers: Identify food or environmental triggers (such as heat or spicy foods) that worsen symptoms. Cooling Herbs: Take coriander juice or apply sandalwood paste for urticaria relief. Nasya Therapy: Apply 2 drops of Anu Taila (medicated nasal oil) in each nostril daily to help with migraines. Consultation: Since you’re on medication, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner to ensure compatibility with your current treatment and adjust dosages of Ayurvedic herbs as needed.

When it comes to dealing with gastritis and those chest pains, a lot of what you eat and how you live really matters. Since you're already on meds, let's see how Ayurveda can add to it. First thing with diet—try to go easy on spicy, fried, and too greasy stuff. Those kinda foods can stir up the Pitta dosha, making things worse. Instead, focus on incorporating cooling and soothing foods in your diet. Think stuff like cooked rice, oatmeal, boiled veggies, and things that are generally easy on the tummy. Cabbage juice is surprisingly good for soothing the stomach lining, if you have the patience to make some. Now, hydration is crucial. Drink water, but not cold. Warm or room-temp water gets along with your digestive fire or agni. Adding a piece of ginger to your water could help, ginger can be soothing for the stomach, just a slice though, you don't want to overdo it. For remedies, licorice root (mulethi) is typically suggested in Ayurveda for gastritis. A half teaspoon of its powder mixed in with lukewarm water, perhaps twice a day, may help in providing some relief. Turmeric also has anti-inflammatory properties, you can add a pinch to your regular meals. Keep in mind, you gotta listen to your body; if something isn't feeling right, stop that. As far as lifestyle changes go, try not to rush through your meals. Eating mindfully, chewing properly, can go a long way. Small habits like not lying down right after eating can prevent discomfort. Stress has a big role too; practices like pranayama or simple breathing exercises can help in balancing your Vata, which might also be out of whack. Something else, make sure to discuss any new changes with your doctor, since you're on meds. Remember, everyone's body is unique, so what works one might not work for all. But these are starting points you might consider. Stay well.
