Doctors' responses

Yes, belly button position can sometimes be corrected. If displacement is mild → Usually no treatment needed (only cosmetic issue). If you want correction → Plastic / cosmetic surgery (umbilicoplasty) can reshape or reposition it. If there is pain, swelling, or hernia → You should consult a surgeon because treatment may be needed. Show once to a general surgeon or plastic surgeon for advice.

Thanks, this was so helpful! Your suggestion really put my mind at ease. I’m trying the steam inhalation & it’s already helping a bit!
