🌿 Best Ayurvedic Oils for Post-Surgical Tissue Damage (Healed Stage) 1️⃣ Murivenna Tailam ⭐ (TOP CHOICE) Best for: Tissue damage Post-surgical pain Nerve & muscle healing Scar stiffness How it helps: Promotes tissue regeneration Reduces pain, swelling, tightness Very gentle—commonly used after surgeries in Ayurveda How to use: Slightly warm the oil Apply gently around (not on scar initially) Light massage 1–2 times daily 2️⃣ Ksheerabala Tailam (101 avarti if available) Best for: Nerve pain Weakness Post-surgery sensitivity Burning or tingling pain Use if: pain is more neuropathic (shooting, tingling, numbness). 3️⃣ Mahanarayan Tailam Best for: Muscle stiffness Joint tightness Restricted arm movement Use when: physiotherapy has started and movement is limited. 🌿 If Scar Tissue Is Hard or Painful After complete healing (usually 3+ months): ➤ Murivenna + gentle fomentation Apply Murivenna Warm towel fomentation for 5 minutes Helps soften scar tissue and improve circulation. 🧴 External Care Rules (VERY IMPORTANT) ✔ Oil should be lukewarm, not hot ✔ Pressure should be very gentle ✔ Avoid direct massage on scar for first few months ✔ Stop if pain, redness, or swelling increases 🌱 Internal Support (only if doctor allows & age-appropriate) If your daughter is above 12 years and doctor permits: Ashwagandha lehya (small dose) – tissue strength Guduchi – healing & immunity (If she is younger, tell me her age—I’ll guide safely.) 🙏 Emotional Healing Matters Too Children who undergo repeated surgeries often hold pain in the body. Soft touch massage (even 2–3 minutes) Calm reassurance during oiling This helps nervous system recovery.

Hello I get how awful it is seeing your daughter struggle after all those arm surgeries. When you’ve got messed-up tissue, nerve problems, stiffness, and slow healing, it hits everyone hard. Ayurveda has some ways to help with tissue healing, pain, and fixing those nerves, and one of the best things is using oil. YOUR CONCERN Basically, you’re worried because: * Your daughter hurt her arm badly. * She’s had a bunch of surgeries. * She’s still in pain, stiff, and her tissues are damaged. * You want an Ayurvedic oil to help her heal. This sounds like a Vata issue, plus some damage to her muscles and tendons. AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING After surgery and trauma, Ayurveda calls this Abhighataja Vata Vyadhi. * Basically, the injury messed up her Vata. * Her blood isn’t flowing well. * Her nerves, muscles, and tissues are weak. * Healing is slow and painful. * If you don’t fix this Vata, the pain and stiffness can stick around for ages. What we want to do * Get the blood flowing better * Calm that Vata down * Feed the nerves, muscles, and ligaments * Help the deep tissue heal * Cut down the pain and stiffness THE BEST AYURVEDIC OIL FOR THIS 1. Mahanarayana Taila (Main oil) This is great for: –Post-surgery pain – Nerve damage –Muscle problems – Tendon and ligament injuries – Stiffness 2. Bala-Ashwagandhadi Taila (for deep tissue healing) This oil: –Rebuilds muscle and nerve tissue –Speeds up healing –Eases nerve pain You can mix both oils in equal amounts. HOW TO USE IT (super important) – Warm the oil a bit. – Gently massage it on her arm, shoulder, and wherever it hurts. – Massage upwards (towards her heart). – Do this every day or at least five days a week. – After the massage, put a warm cloth or heating pad on it for 10–15 minutes. This helps the oil soak into the deep tissues. INTERNAL MEDICATION (totally recommended) To help the tissue heal even faster, give her: 1 Ashwagandha Churna – ½ teaspoon twice a day 2 Yograj Guggulu – 1 tablet twice a day These will: * Lower irritation * Make the muscles stronger * Help the nerves heal DIET PLANINCLUDE – Milk – Ghee –Almonds –Dates –Green veggies –Moong dal ❌AVOID – Cold food – Junk food – Too much tea/coffee When will you see changes? – 2–3 weeks: Less pain and stiffness – 1–2 months: Better movement and strength – 3–4 months: The tissue starts healing better Post-surgery pain doesn’t mean it’s not working — it just means the Vata isn’t fixed yet. With the right oil and food, she can still heal. Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

After multiple arm surgeries the tissues become weak dry and sensitive and pain persists mainly due to vata aggravation and incomplete tissue healing In such cases external oil therapy plays a very important role in reducing pain improving circulation softening scar tissue and supporting muscle nerve and ligament recovery Gentle daily abhyanga helps nourish deeper tissues and gradually restores strength and flexibility You can use Ksheerabala taila or Dhanwantaram taila for regular massage as these oils are very effective for post surgical pain nerve sensitivity and tissue repair Apply the oil lukewarm with very gentle strokes once or twice daily and keep it for at least thirty minutes before bathing Consistency is more important than pressure and over time this helps reduce pain stiffness and supports natural healing of the affected arm
