Hello Mahalaxmi, avoid all sorts of cold exposure like AC/direct FAN/cold foods/ fruits/dairy etc for some days. Don’t drink a lot of water post sunset. You can take Haridra khand 1 tsp with honey on empty stomach in the morning. Tab Guduchi Ghana Vati 1-1 after meals. Start with Pranayam, Jala neti after learning from an experienced yoga practitioner. You can start doing Nasyam therapy at a close by Ayurvedic health centre. These guidelines will help you in reducing the symptoms to a great extent.

Hi Mahalakshmi,Your symptoms suggest an aggravated Vata and Kapha imbalance, often linked to dust allergies and an underlying thyroid condition that can intensify these reactions. In Ayurveda, we recommend managing these symptoms with a combination of internal and external treatments to balance the aggravated doshas. Sitopaladi Churna mixed with honey, taken twice daily, can help reduce nasal congestion, sneezing, and morning allergies. Haridrakhand is also beneficial for dust allergies and respiratory issues, promoting clearer breathing. For relief, you might also consider Nasya therapy, where a few drops of warm Anu Tailam or sesame oil are gently applied in each nostril every morning; this can help protect the nasal passages from dust and environmental triggers. Additionally, drinking warm ginger and turmeric tea can help alleviate symptoms and support your immune response. Avoid cold, heavy, and oily foods, which can increase Kapha and worsen congestion. Daily steam inhalation with eucalyptus or tulsi leaves will also help clear nasal passages and reduce morning blockages.

Sounds like your dealing with some classic signs of a Kapha imbalance, especially with those early-morning symptoms. The sneezing, watery nose, and headaches can really put a damper on your day. Yeah, dust can totally trigger this. What we're seeing here might be a mix of allergies and some imbalances with your respiratory system.
Let's dive a little deeper into avoiding triggers and then we can chat remedies. Try keeping your living space as dust-free as possible – if you can manage this. Might mean more frequent vacuuming, using air purifiers or even just letting some fresh air in from time to time. Early mornings when Kapha's at its peak can make it worse, so maybe just keep an eye on what stuff you’re around after waking up.
Now, some self-care stuff. A cup of warm ginger tea could be your buddy here. Ginger's good for reducing excess Kapha, and it’s pretty comforting too. Just simmer a few slices in water and sip slowly, especially in the mornings. Same goes with warm saline nasal rinse for that nose block; this can help clear the passageways - so do it gently.
For meals, lean towards light and easy-to-digest foods; avoid anything too heavy, cold, or overly sweet. Certainly, a bowl of hot soup with spices like black pepper or turmeric has not only warmth but benefits for your condition. Spices like cumin or coriander can also be included more – they help balance out that Kapha stuff.
Regular exercise, even something light like brisk walking, can really keep that sluggish feeling at bay – just make it part of your morning ritual if that’s an option.
Since you mentioned allergies, this might actually need a little more attention if it's more than annoying. If these symptoms keep pushing through despite all this, it might be time to consult with an Ayurveda doc face-to-face. Just checking you're not missing anything too critical, right?
Ultimately, balance and consistency is key. Watch for what works well for you, it'll take a little experimenting - doesn't have to be perfect straightaway.
