Avoid chilled, processed, dairy and bakery products. Regular exercise and breathing exercises. Increase intake of raw vegetables and fruits. Use boiled water for drinking. Tab.Shati 2-0-2 Kanakasav 20ml twice with lukewarm water. Tab Immunocin 2-0-2 Follow up after 4weeks.

Asthma, combined with the goal of losing weight, can be a complex situation, yet it can be managed effectively. Focusing first on your dosha balance is key in Ayurveda when dealing with asthma. Asthma typically relates to an imbalance in Vata, with Kapha-related symptoms such as congestion or mucus build-up. Ensuring overall balance will help both controlling asthma and faciliate weight loss.

Starting with your diet, it’s essential to avoid foods that increase Kapha. Reducing intake of dairy, cold, and fried foods will be beneficial. Instead, favor lighter meals that are warm and cooked, such as soups, which are eaasier on the digestive system. Incorporate spices like turmeric, ginger, and black pepper, which help in improving digestion and clearing respiratory pathways. Opt for whole grains like barley or millet, and focus on fresh vegetables and legumes, which provide energy without unnecessarily adding to Kapha dosha.

Consistency matters in exercise. Gentle activities like walking or yoga can improve lung function without overtaxing your breath. Avoid high-intensity workouts that might trigger asthma symptoms. Pranayama or breathing exercises, especially Anulom Vilom and Kapalabhati, are highly recommended. They strengthen the respiratory system, enhance lung capacity, and reduce stress, promoting both physical and mental well-being. Practicing these in the morning can set a positive tone for the rest of the day.

Timing is crucial. Aim to eat your main meal around midday when Agni, or digestive fire, is strongest. This ensures efficient digestion and utilization of nutrients. Eat lighter dinners to support a smooth digestive process overnight.

Furthermore, ensuring regular sleep patterns supports weight regulation. Prioritize going to bed and waking up around the same time each day, aligning with natural circadian rhythms. Deep sleep is restorative, aiding in the regulation of hormones associated with hunger and satiety.

Ayurveda supports a holistic approach, but it’s imperative to have access to conventional medicine for emergencies.
