Hello Nelia I can understand your concern Pitta dosha prominent hair is difficult to manage, the treatment should focus on cooling the scalp, reducing the excess heat and maintaining proper nourishment of hairs Excess pitta causes -Dandruff -Scalp irritation -Premature thin hair -Premature grey hair Oily hair You have also mentioned you have a low porosity hair that means the hairs tends to resist moisture absorption IDEAL HAIR CARE ROUTINE FOR PITTA DOSHA 1.Regular oil application oil helps to cool down the scalp and also nourish hair follicles Best oil for you -Neelibhringadi taila + himsagara taila (70-30 percent) As your hair os low porosity warm the oil little bit before applying HAIR WASHING Use mild shampoo Reetha and shikekai based Wash only 2-3 times a day WEEKLY COOLING HAIR MASK Use natural hair mask like aloe vera gel or yoghurt This will help to cool down the scalp AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT INTERNAL MEDICATION 1.Saarivasavam 30ml twice daily after food (Balances internal pitta) 2.Jeevamrutham 1 tsp at bed time DIET FOR HEALTHY HAIR Include -Warm nourishing food -fresh fruits -1 tsp ghee daily -leafy vegtable -Adequate hydration Avoid -Spicy food -Junk. Food -tea or coffee on empty stomach Pitta dominant hair should be calmed and nourish With correct oil and proper diet and lifestyle hair will IMPROVE Wishing you a good health 😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

1. Hair Porosity vs Dosha Low porosity hair Hair cuticles are tightly closed Moisture enters slowly Products tend to sit on the hair surface This is a structural property of hair, not directly related to dosha. Pitta dosha hair characteristics (Ayurveda) Fine or soft hair Early greying Hair thinning or hair fall Sensitive scalp, heat, dandruff, itching Low porosity hair is often seen in Vata-dominant hair, but it does not confirm Vata dosha… Dhutturpatradi oil for scalp. amla rasayana hair pack (triphala+ bringaraja+ methi + kadhi patta paste)

Namaste, For Pitta dosha, hair and scalp are usually sensitive, heat-prone, and prone to dandruff or thinning, so care should focus on cooling and gentle nourishment. Simple haircare routine: Oil your hair 2–3 times a week with cooling oils. Wash hair with a mild, herbal shampoo 2–3 times weekly (once a week may be less if dandruff is present). Avoid very hot water; use lukewarm or cool water. Do not expose scalp to excess sun and heat. Suitable ingredients: Use oils like coconut oil, bhringraj oil, or amla oil for cooling effect. Herbs like amla, bhringraj, brahmi, neem are helpful for scalp health. For dandruff, mild use of neem-based products can help. For low porosity hair: Use light oils (like coconut) instead of heavy oils. Avoid product buildup; keep routine simple. Occasional warm oil application helps better absorption. Diet and lifestyle: Avoid very spicy, oily, and fermented foods. Include cooling foods like fruits, vegetables, and adequate hydration. Manage stress and sleep, as they affect hair health. Ayurvedic medicines sometimes used to support hair health include: Amla – traditionally used to support hair and reduce heat in the body. Bhringraj oil – commonly used to support scalp nourishment and hair growth. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.

Hello, 1) Hair washing -Frequency= once a week is ideal for pitta to avoid over drying -Water temperature= use lukewarm water, never hot -Cleansers= mild, herbal shampoos with cooling and soothing properties. Avoid harsh detergents 2) Ingredients to favour -Cooling oils = coconut oil , brahmi, bhringaraj, aloe vera -Soothing herbs = neem (antifungal), Amla (strengthens hair), Hibiscus (nourishing) -Avoid = excessly warming spices or chemical-laden products, they aggravate pitta 3) Scalp care -Massage 1-2 times a week with oil before washing -Focus on scalp health to reduce dandruff : Neem, Triphala or Aloe vera oil -Kee scalp cool and protected from direct sun 4) Hair mask / treatment -Weekly mask= mix aloe vera gel + coconut oil + a inch of cooling herbs (like brahmi powder) for 30-60 min before shampooing -Hels manage dandruf, strengthens hair, and improve moisture absorption for low-porosity hair. 5) Lifestyle and diet -Reduce= excess spicy, fried, oily foods -Include= cooling food, cucumber, coconut, leafy green, plenty of water -Manage stress, meditation/ yoga helps balance pitta internally, which reflects in hair health 6) Styling and care -minimize heat styling, it aggravates pitta -use natural brushes (boar bristle ) to gently stimulate scalp circulation This covers all points, washing, oils, herbs, masks, lifestyle, and low porosity hair management while addressing Pitta dosha Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
