I have melasma on my nose and cheeks since 4 months. The spots are brown in color. please guide to get rid off it as it is frustrating to me

Melasma in Ayurveda is commonly related to Pitta aggravation with sun exposure affecting the skin pigmentation. As your patches appeared after sunlight exposure, treatment should focus on cooling, blood purification, and skin protection. Recommendations: Continue using a good broad-spectrum sunscreen daily. Avoid direct sun, excessive heat, spicy food, fried items, and stress. Drink plenty of water and include cooling foods like cucumber, coconut water, and pomegranate. Ayurvedic support: Manjistha and Sariva help in blood purification and improving skin complexion. Aloe vera gel (pure) can be applied gently at night. Apply a mild paste of sandalwood + rose water 2–3 times weekly for soothing and pigmentation control. For better and safe results. Melasma improves gradually, so regular care and sun protection are very important.
