Hello I get why you’re worried about your constipation and want quick relief. It’s super annoying! I also see why you’d consider taking another dose of Kubj Har (Baidyanath) if it didn’t work right away. But you have to be careful with this.

Should you take Kubj Har again after just 14 hours?

No, definitely NOT a good idea to repeat it that soon. Kubj Har is pretty strong.

If you take it again so quickly, you could end up with: * Really bad cramps * Dehydration * Feeling weak * Your electrolytes getting all messed up * Your bowels becoming reliant on the medicine to work.

Using strong stuff like this all the time when you’re constipated a lot can actually make the problem worse in the long run.

So, why didn’t one dose do the trick?

When you’ve been constipated for a while: * Your colon gets lazy * Things get really dry and blocked up

That’s why taking just one strong thing might not be enough to get things moving.

What’s a safer way to deal with this? Instead of taking more Kubj Har, try something gentler every day (especially if you’re always constipated): * Triphala powder a teaspoon with warm water at night * Isabgol – a teaspoon with warm milk at night * A teaspoon of cow ghee before bed

This will help get your bowels back on track without causing harm.

If you REALLY need quick relief (and this is just for once in a while): You could try castor oil – 1 or 2 teaspoons with warm milk (but only do this once every 7 to 10 days).

DIET PLAN

❌AVOID * Dry foods * Bakery stuff * Tea and coffee * Anything made with refined flour

✅Eat more of: * Warm water first thing in the morning * Papaya and soaked raisins * Steamed veggies * Ghee every day

Here’s the truth: Strong laxatives won’t fix chronic constipation.

What WILL help: * Keeping things lubricated * Getting into a regular bathroom routine * Using gentle herbs

Otherwise, your bowels might become dependent on the medicine forever.

DON’T take Kubj Har again so soon. It’s not something you should use every day.

Take it just once, and then switch to Triphala and fix your diet to get better for good.

Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

If you have taken one spoon of Kubj Har and it has not produced motion it is better not to repeat the same dose after 14 hours on the same day because this medicine is a strong bowel stimulant and repeating it can cause severe cramps weakness loose motions and long term dependency especially when constipation is chronic for more than six months with bloating For chronic constipation Kubj Har should ideally be used only occasionally and preferably at night, not as a daily solution If there is no motion the next day you can wait 24 hours and then reassess but a safer long term approach is to correct bowel tone using milder options like triphala churna half to one teaspoon at bedtime with warm water or milk adding one teaspoon cow ghee at night adequate water intake warm meals and regular morning routine This helps restore natural bowel movement rather than forcing it If bloating and constipation are long standing a personalised plan is important instead of repeating strong laxatives frequently

Kabajhar is a strong laxative, taking, frequently is not advisable. For chronic constipation, start with Tablet Liv-52 1-0-1 helps improve digestion Aloevera juice 10ml twice daily after food with 20ml. Water.will help in smooth evacuation of the stools. Take castor oil 5ml. Twice after food with warm water for 7 days. Take tablet Nityam 0-0-2 at bedtime with warm water. If it happens to be strong, next day reduce the dosage to 0-0-1 Do pranayam lom -vilom kapalbhatti bhastrika daily for 5-10mins twice Drink adequate amount of water through out the day Include fresh green vegetables in your diet daily. Have prunes, black currant, raisins in your diet daily, these are natural laxatives and also good for health.

About Kubj Har (Baidyanath) It is a strong purgative Not meant to be repeated within 24 hours Repeating after 14 hours is NOT advised → may cause cramps, dehydration, dependency, and worsen gut sluggishness long-term 👉 If one spoon did not work, do NOT repeat the same day.

Internal support

HELLO, KUBJ HAR BAIDYANATH = is an ayurvedic formulation, usually used as a mild herbal laxative. It dosage instructions typically recommend once daily Repeating doses too soon can sometimes cause diarrhea, abdominal cramping, or electrolyte imbalance TIMING= waiting 14 hours is less than a full day, so repeating it is not generally recommended without guidance. Most herbal laxatives are meant to work gradually over several hour or overnight. If it didn’t work In 14 hours, repeating immediately may not give extra benefit and could irritate your digestive system Your symptoms suggest chronic constipation, which can lead or to be associated with 1) DIETRY ISSUES -low fibre intake - insufficient water consumption 2) LIFESTYLE FACTORS -sedentry habits - ignoring the urge to pass stool - stress and anxiety Ayurvedic views constipation as a vata imbalance, particularly apana vata, which governs elimination. Hard stools and dryness point to excessive dryness in the colon. Likely involved - vata prakopa(aggravation of vata) - dry, cold, rough qualities dominating TREATMENT GOALS 1) soften and regulate stools 2) heal and reduce pain 3) Balance vata dosha 4) improves digestive strength 5) prevent recurrence START INTERNALLY WITH -these target vata imbalance, dry stools and poor bowel movement MILD DAILY LAXATIVES 1) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm water at bedtime =softens stool, promotes complete evacuation, rejuvinates colon 2) HARITAKI CHURNA= 3gm at bedtime with warm water =vata pacifying, gentle laxative, relieves gas and bloating 3) ABHAYARISHTA= 30 ml with equal water twice daily after meals =best for chronic constipation, piles , anal fissure and gas 4) AVIPATIKAR CHURNA(if acidity)= 5gm with water before meals = reduces pitta, heylpsbowel movement STRONGER LAXATIVES( IF SEVERE CONSTIPATION) 1) GANDHARVAHASTADI KASHAYA= 15ml with warm water twice daily before meals =clears vata from the colon, use for dry constipation 2) ERANDA TAILA= 5-10 ml with warm milk at bedtime once weekly =strong purgatives, lubricates colon, heals fissure DIET RECOMMENDATIONS the goal is to moisten the intestines, balance vata, and ensure soft, regular stools FRUITS= ripe banana, papaya, figs(soaked), prunes, soaked raisins, stewed apples- natural laxatives, fibre rich VEGETABLES= bottle gourd, pumpkin, spinach, carrots, beetroot(cooked)- easy to digest, promotes bowel movement GRAINS= rice, oats, wheat, barley- light, nourishing grains FATS= cows ghee(1-2 tsp/day), sesame oil- lubricates intestines, pacifies vata LIQUID= warm water, soups, thin moong dal, herbal teas- keeps digestion smooth, hydrates colon SPICES= hing, ajwain, cumin, fennel, ginger- improves digestion, reduces gas and bloating.
