-Your symptoms point to 3 main drivers Stress-driven BP Insomnia keeping BP and heart rate high Post-meal palpitations (especially with rice) -Medicines Morning (Empty stomach) 1)Sarpagandha Ghana Vati – 125 mg 👉 Regular monitor bp 👉 Start ½ tablet only more can calm initially, then develop fatigue, low mood, or sleep issues later. 👉 Monitor BP regularly 2)Arjuna Churna – 3 g With lukewarm water After Lunch 3)Brahmi Vati (without gold) – 1 tab With lukewarm water Evening (After food) 4)Jatamansi Churna – 2 g With warm water or milk Night (Before bed) 5)Ashwagandha Churna – 3 g With warm milk (Tablet form preferred if digestion is weak) 6)Saraswatarishta – 10 ml + equal water (Only if sleep remains disturbed; avoid if acidity increases) -Pathya (Diet & Lifestyle) Prefer millets, oats, barley Avoid excess white rice, late dinners Light dinner before 8 pm Daily slow breathing / meditation – 15 min Avoid caffeine after sunset -Apathya Excess salt Night screen exposure Alcohol, smoking Heavy, late meals Anupana Warm water Warm milk at night (if tolerated) Monitoring Advice Check BP twice weekly If dizziness, excessive sleepiness, low BP → STOP sarpagandha immediately Review after 14 days ⚠️ Important Note Do NOT combine Sarpagandha with modern BP medicines So try to be with other medicines along with modern…if no relief then add just 1/2 tablet Review after 2 weeks

So try to be with other medicines along with modern…if no relief then add just 1/2 tablet Means No English medicine with sarpagandha Please mention it

Yes, right at present use other medicines , review your bp also, if u get ni result then add sarpgandha 1/2 tab once a day only, then we will increase dose accordingly to your symptoms, don’t increase dose by your own

Do not take Sarpagandha with Bytenda (morning) and Cilap 5 (evening) on your own. Why It can drop BP too much Can cause dizziness, weakness, mental heaviness Not good with stress + insomnia Your symptoms Heavy heartbeat after rice → stress + digestion BP 140/90 → mildly high Millets helping → good, continue What is safe now Continue current BP medicines Eat light food, prefer millets For sleep Ashwagandha 1tab at night Warm milk

Hello I can understand your concern. But dont worry we are here to help you out 😊 YOUR CONCERN –Your BP is around 140/90, which is a bit high. –You get heart palpitations after eating rice. –Your chest feels heavy. –You’re dealing with a lot of stress and worry. –You have trouble sleeping. –You’re taking Bytenda in the morning and Cilnidipine/Clip 5 in the evening. Basically, your Vata and Pitta are out of whack, and your mind is disturbed. Stress is causing your body to go into overdrive, raising your BP, making your heart race, and keeping you up at night. Rice is building up Kapha, which is messing with your circulation and making your heart pound. Can you mix Sarpagandha with your BP meds? NO, Don’t do it. Sarpagandha: –Really drops your BP. –Slows your heart down. –Can cause low BP, fainting, and depression if you take it with your current meds. –People can collapse if they mix them. Why didn’t Arjunarishta & Ashwagandharishta work? Because your heart isn’t weak, you’re just stressed out; your nervous system is in overdrive. Heart tonics alone won’t cut it. What’s Really Going On? Your nervous system is too active because you’re stressed, not sleeping well, BP is up, and you have palpitations. INTERNAL MEDICATION (Safely with Your Meds) These will calm you out and lower your BP naturally without causing problems with your drugs: 1.Brahmi Vati (Gold free): 1 tablet after dinner 2Jatamansi Churna ½ tsp with warm water at night 3.Ashwagandha capsule: 1 capsule at night after food 4.Tagara (Valerian) 250 mg at night These things will: –Calm your mind –Lower cortisol –Help you sleep –Lower BP –Stop palpitations For Sleep Problems (Super Important) –At night: Warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg –No phone after 9 pm –Foot massage with Brahmi oil Why does rice mess with your heart? Rice builds up Kapha, which blocks tiny blood vessels, making your heart work harder and causing pounding. Try millet, wheat, or oats instead. Skip white rice at night. When to Check Back In 3 weeks, check your: –BP –Pulse –Sleep Hopefully, you’ll see: –BP go down –Sleep improve –Heartbeat calm You can totally turn this around without needing more drugs if you heal your nervous system. Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

HELLO, You’ve shared (Bp 140/90, heaviness in chest, pounding heartbeat after rice, severe stress, chronic insomnia, currently on Bytenda morning + Clinidipine 5 mg evening), this requires careful integration of Ayurveda with your existing allopathic medicine AYURVEDIC VIEW -HYPERTENSION= (2-3 years)-> Rakta gata vata with pitta association -Heavy heartbeat after rice-> likely kapha aggravation + post prandial glucose spike -Carrer stress very high-> prana vata + sadhaka pitta disturbance -Chronic insomnia -> Vata aggravation in manovaha srotas -Heaviness + pressure-> kapha-avarana over vata IMPORTANT FIRST : ABOUT SARPAGANDHA Sarpagandha is a strong antihypertensive herb. It works similarly to some modern Bp drugs by lowering sympathetic tone Since you are already taking -Bytenda (likely ARB class) -Clinidipine 5 mg (calcium channel blocker) Adding sarpagadha can cause -suddem bp drop -excess sedation -depression -bradycardia -drug interaction Do Not combine sarpaganda with your current medicine WHY ARJUNARISHTA + ASHWAGANDHA DIDN’T HELP -Arjunarishta is good for heart tone but mild for hypertension -Ashwagandharishta helps stress but contains jaggery(fermented base)-> may aggravate kapha and post meal heaviness -Your condition needs more targeted vata-pitta calming and metabolic correction WHY MILLERS HELPED Likely digestive correction + reducing kapha after meals -> reduced heavy heartbeat That indicate -post meal metabolic load is contributing to symptoms AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT 1) BP MANAGEMENT Instead of sarpagandha, consider this MORNING (with current bytenda) -Brahmi powder= 3 gm with warm water = calms mind, reduces stress induced Bp AFTER BREAKFAST -1 tsp Arjuna powder boiled in water (decoction form better than aright) EVENING (with Clinidipine) -Tagara 500mg -> helps Bp + insomnia 2) INSOMNIA MANAGEMENT (major root cause) Your insomnia is worsening Bp NIGHT PROTOCOL -warm milk + 1/4 tsp nutmeg -5 min slow breathing (left nostril breathing) -foot massage with sesame oil -no screens 1 hour before bed HERBAL OPTION -Ashwagandha tablet with warm milk (no aristha form) 3) RICE INDUCED HEAVY HEARTBEAT Likely due to -high glycemic spike -kapha aggravation -insulin resistance pattern MODIFY DIET -replace white rice with -red rice/hand pounded rice -or millet (little millet, foxtail) -Add ghee small amount to reduce glycemic spike -add jeera + ajwain in food AFTER MEALS -5 min slow walking -1 pinch trikatu with honey (if no gastritis) 4) STRESS CORRECTION (most important) Carrer stress is driving -sympathetic overdrive -insomnia -Bp elevation DAILY -15 min morning sunlight exposure -20 min brisk walking -bhramari paranoyam 10rounds If stress is extremely high -> consider guided conselling along side ayurveda WHEN TO SEE CARDILOGIST IMMEDIATELY -persistent chest heaviness -palpitations -Bp above 150/100 repetedly -breathlessness Do not rely only on herbal management if these occur Your Bp boderline (140/90) . First -correct sleep -correct stress -modify diet -add gentle herbs DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU DR. MAITRI ACHARYA

✓No do NOT add Sarpagandha right now. Sarpagandha is very strong hypotensive + sedative. Combined with Bytenda (likely Nebivolol or similar beta-blocker) + Clop (Clonidine or similar) it can cause excessive BP drop, severe bradycardia, extreme drowsiness, or even syncope – especially with your already low energy + insomnia pattern. ✓Current combo (Bytenda + Clop) is strong – adding more hypotensive herb is risky ✓Recommended Safe Additions (start low – after cardiologist nod) Brahmi Vati (plain) – 1 tablet night (best for stress, insomnia, mental pressure – no BP drop risk) Shankhpushpi Syrup – 10 ml night (calms mind, improves sleep quality, reduces reactivity) Jatamansi Churna – 250–500 mg night with warm water (very strong for insomnia & stress palpitations) Arjunarishta – continue 10–15 ml BD (safe heart support – you can increase slightly if tolerated) ✓Diet & Lifestyle (most powerful now) Continue millets (jowar/bajra/ragi) as staple – replace rice completely Dinner before 7 pm, light (no heavy carbs at night) No caffeine/tea after 4 pm 10–15 min Anulom-Vilom + Bhramari pranayama before bed (proven for stress & insomnia) Legs elevated 20 min evening (reduces pressure & palpitations) Sleep strictly 10 pm – 6 am (no phone after 9 pm) ✓Urgent See cardiologist this week – repeat ECG + Holter (24 h) to check arrhythmia/palpitations Share full medicine list – current combo is already heavy; may need dose adjustment Stress management is key – consider short-term counselling or mindfulness app Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma
