Hello Priyanka, thank you for reaching out. Given that you've been experiencing gastric issues for the past four days without relief from home remedies, it's essential to address this condition holistically. In Ayurveda, gastric issues often arise due to an imbalance in the Pitta dosha, which governs digestion and metabolism. To alleviate your symptoms, I recommend incorporating a few dietary and lifestyle modifications. First, focus on a bland diet that includes easily digestible foods like rice, khichdi (a mix of rice and lentils), and boiled vegetables. Avoid spicy, oily, and heavy foods as they can aggravate gastric discomfort. Incorporating Ginger into your meals or consuming ginger tea can help stimulate digestion and soothe the stomach. You may also benefit from drinking cumin water (boil cumin seeds in water, strain, and drink) to help reduce bloating and gas. Consider taking Triphala (1 teaspoon mixed with warm water before bed), which aids digestion and can help in regulating bowel movements. Additionally, practicing light yoga poses such as Pawanmuktasana can assist in relieving gas and promoting digestive health. It's also important to stay hydrated; sip on warm water or herbal teas throughout the day. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it would be wise to consult with a healthcare professional for further evaluation and guidance. Taking these steps should help alleviate your gastric issues and restore balance to your digestive system.

Hey Priyanka, sorry about your gastric troubles, sounds like they’re hanging on longer than you'd like! In Ayurveda, we often see gastric issues linked to an imbalance, primarily of Pitta dosha, especially if there’s a lot of acidity or heartburn going on. But hey, could be a Kapha issue too, causing sluggish digestion. Let's try and balance things out. Firstly, check your diet. Ever heard the saying "you are what you eat"? It truly fits here. You'll want to avoid hot, spicy, or fried foods which can aggravate Pitta. So think cool and calming foods. Stuff like cucumbers, cantaloupe or maybe even grapes. Really wanna keep it light and digestible. Also, drink a glass of lukewarm water primarally early in the morning, maybe with a squeeze of lemon if you can handle the taste. Keeps things moving and hydrates your system without shocking it with cold. Another cool trick is sipping on some fennel tea throughout the day. Just boil some fennel seeds in water and sip. It’s known to help with digestion and can ease that bloated feeling. Lifestyle-wise, stress can tax your digestive system more than you might think. Do you take time to relax each day? Maybe a few deep breaths or even some light yoga or stretching after meals could do wonders. And, meal timings. Try to stick to regular meal times, avoid eating just before bed. Let your body digest properly. Agni, our digestive fire, is at it's peak around midday, perfect for your largest meal. Small dinners, please. Observe and see if these small changes help you. If the discomfort keeps sticking around though, might be wise to consult for further investigations. You’ve got this!
