is sesame oil good for low porosity hair - #36894
I am really confused about my hair situation. I have low porosity hair, and it feels like a struggle to find the right products. My hair tends to be greasy on the surface but super dry underneath and never seems to absorb oils properly. A hairdresser recommended I try sesame oil, saying it might be beneficial for low porosity hair, but I don’t know if that’s the right choice. I did some research, and it's like a jungle out here. Some places say it’s great because it’s rich in nutrients, and others suggest it might just sit on top of my hair and not penetrate. I’ve tried different oils before, but they all just kind of coat my hair and don’t really help. I’ve also had a few bad experiences where my hair felt even more dull after using something oily. Could sesame oil actually be good for low porosity hair? I mean, have ppl really seen a difference? Or is it just another oil that won’t do much for me? Anyone with low porosity hair have success stories with sesame oil? This whole thing is giving me a headache!
