Iam suffering from knee crepitus in left leg v and sound comes from while moment. So kindly suggest best treatment to handle the future problem. Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

Hi Ali, Can you tell me if you feel any pain, swelling, or stiffness along with the sound in your knee? Does the sound occur during specific activities, like climbing stairs or squatting, or is it more frequent with movement? For knee crepitus (the sound in the joint), you can try Ashwagandha and Guggul to reduce inflammation and support joint health. Turmeric (Curcumin) and Boswellia are also effective in easing joint discomfort. Regular strengthening exercises for the quadriceps and hamstrings can help support the knee joint, while using warm or cold compresses may help reduce any inflammation. If the condition persists, seeing a physiotherapist for targeted exercises may also be beneficial.

I have suffering from backache since 3 month. Not responded for any treatment . Finally diagnosed as L5 S1 disc bulge by doing MRI. I got ayurveda treatment for that. Now I feel some good. But not as previously. What should I do? What is the best for me..

You should consider undergoing Panchakarma treatment, such as **Kati Basti** and **Matra Basti**, along with oral medications to help resolve the issue. Additionally, following a **Vata-shamak** (Vata-pacifying) diet is essential for effective results. I recommend visiting a nearby Panchakarma clinic for treatment.

I have got severe pain in LS SPINE . Left side of waist . Since last one year the same is happening . Xray has been done and doctor told lack of calcium and ageing responsible and advised use of LS BELT and some physical discipline . I have reduced travelling by car which i used to do earlier .

To understand your condition better, may I ask if your X-ray or any other imaging like an MRI showed any signs of disc issues? Did the doctor mention any disc bulge, herniation, or indentation on the nerves? Any symptoms like numbness, tingling, or weakness in the legs? These details will help in providing more specific Ayurvedic recommendations for your spine health.

I had back pain since last 3 month. Not answered for pain killers. Finally diagnosed as L5 S1 disc bulge from MRI. Then I took Ayurveda treatment about 1 and half month. Severe pain was settled. But still cann't do day today activities without pain. What should I do?

Since you’ve already taken Ayurvedic treatment for 1.5 months and the severe pain has reduced, but you’re still struggling with daily activities, you need a combination of herbal support, external therapies, and lifestyle modifications for long-term relief. Ayurvedic Approach for L5-S1 Disc Bulge & Pain Management 1. Strengthen the Spine & Reduce Inflammation • Trayodashang Guggulu – 1 tablets twice daily before food with lukewarm water to strengthen nerves and reduce pain. • Peedantak Vati (Patanjali) – 1 tablet twice daily after food to relieve muscular pain and stiffness. • Dashmool Kwath – 20 ml twice daily for nerve and muscle relaxation. • Epsom Salt Bath – Soak in warm water with Epsom salt and rock salt for about 10 minutes Avoid forward bending & heavy lifting. Sleep on a firm mattress with a pillow under the knees (for spinal support). Do gentle yoga poses like Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), Shalabhasana (Locust Pose), and Makarasana (Crocodile Pose) to strengthen your spine. Practice Makarasana (Crocodile Pose) for 5 minutes daily—it relaxes the lower back. Use a hot compress or castor oil pack at night for pain relief. If the pain worsens, causes numbness, tingling, or weakness in the legs, consult a doctor for further evaluation.

Hello I m Rakesh working in Nepal and I m suffering from back pain and stiffness in night from last 4 months and not getting relief after many visits to doctors pls advice as it effect my sleep.

Hi Rakesh, I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with this pain. Can you tell me if the pain is concentrated in a specific area of your back (like the lower back or upper back)? Also, do you experience any numbness, tingling, or weakness in your legs, or any changes in posture? Sometimes, back pain can be related to muscle imbalances, stress, or even improper sleep posture. Ayurveda offers treatments like Ashwagandha, Guggulu, and Bala to support the muscles and spine, but it would be helpful to explore stress management techniques, gentle exercises, and proper ergonomic adjustments in your daily routine to improve sleep and mobility.

Iam experiencing pain over my left shoulder region and upper arm. Iam having difficulty in raising my left upper arm, range of movement of left shoulder is affected, difficulty in taking heavy weight with left upper arm, Mri result suggests disc prolapse over cervical spine , Can u suggest me some exercise and health improvement suggestions by which I could improve my shoulder movements and reduce pain.

Purushothaman M, since you have a history of stroke, diabetes, hypertension, and now left shoulder pain with limited movement due to cervical disc prolapse, you need a gentle yet effective approach to improve mobility and reduce pain. Your condition seems to be a combination of Cervical Spondylosis and Frozen Shoulder (due to past paralysis). This requires: ✅ Mild shoulder & neck exercises ✅ Ayurvedic remedies for pain relief ✅ Dietary & lifestyle improvements ⸻ 1. Exercises to Improve Shoulder Movement & Reduce Pain These exercises should be done slowly and without force. Stop if you feel severe pain. A. Neck & Cervical Exercises (For Disc Prolapse Relief) ✅ Chin Tucks (To strengthen neck muscles) • Sit straight, gently tuck your chin in (like making a double chin), hold for 5 seconds, and release. • Do 10 times. ✅ Side Neck Stretch (For flexibility) • Tilt your head to the right, hold for 10 seconds, then switch to the left. • Repeat 5 times on each side. ✅ Shoulder Shrugs & Rolls • Lift shoulders up and down slowly. • Rotate shoulders forward & backward 10 times each. ⸻ B. Shoulder Strengthening & Mobility Exercises ✅ Pendulum Exercise (For Frozen Shoulder & Mobility) • Lean slightly forward, let your left arm hang, and gently swing it in small circles. • 5 times clockwise & 5 times anti-clockwise. • This helps release stiffness and pain. ✅ Wall Walk (To Improve Shoulder Movement) • Stand facing a wall and use fingers to “walk” up until you feel a gentle stretch. • Hold for 5 seconds, then lower slowly. • Repeat 5 times. ✅ Towel Stretch (For Frozen Shoulder & Disc Relief) • Hold a towel behind your back with both hands. • Use the right hand to pull the left arm upwards slowly. • Hold for 10 seconds, then relax. • Repeat 5 times. ✅ Isometric Shoulder Press (For Strengthening Without Strain) • Stand near a wall, press your left palm against the wall, hold for 5 seconds, then release. • Repeat 5 times. 🚫 Avoid heavy lifting, sudden jerky movements, and sleeping on the affected side. ⸻ 2. Ayurvedic & Natural Remedies for Pain & Nerve Healing ✅ Maha Narayan Oil Massage – Apply warm oil on the shoulder and neck, massage gently for 5 minutes before bath. ✅ Dashmool Kwath Decoction – Take 10 ml twice daily for pain relief. ✅ Ashwagandha & Shatavari – Helps strengthen muscles & nerves (1 tsp powder with milk at night). ✅ Turmeric & Ginger Tea – Natural anti-inflammatory (Drink 2 times daily). ✅ Eranda (Castor) Oil (If Constipated) – Take 1 tsp at night with warm water to reduce Vata-related stiffness. 🚫 Avoid sour, cold, and heavy foods as they increase joint stiffness. ⸻ 3. Diet & Lifestyle Improvements for Faster Recovery ✅ Best Foods for Bone & Nerve Healing ✔️ Calcium & Magnesium-rich foods – Ragi, sesame seeds, almonds, and leafy greens. ✔️ Vitamin D – Morning sunlight for 15 minutes + Cow’s ghee. ✔️ Anti-inflammatory foods – Ginger, turmeric, garlic, black pepper, and coconut water. ✔️ Protein-rich foods – Moong dal, paneer, nuts, and seeds for muscle strength. ✔️ Hydration – Drink 2.5+ liters of warm water daily. 🚫 Avoid Triggers: ❌ Heavy, oily, or processed foods – Increase inflammation. ❌ Too much tea/coffee – Worsens nerve pain. ❌ Cold exposure – Avoid AC or direct cold wind on the neck/shoulder. ⸻ 4. Daily Routine for Recovery Morning: • Neck & Shoulder exercises • Turmeric & Ginger Tea • Sun exposure for 15 minutes Afternoon: • Light lunch (dal, rice, vegetables, and ghee) • Dashmool Kwath after meals Evening: • Wall Walk & Pendulum Exercise • Warm herbal tea (Ashwagandha) Night: • Warm sesame oil massage before bed. • Castor oil (if constipated). • Deep breathing & meditation for relaxation. ⸻ Conclusion Your pain is due to cervical disc prolapse, past paralysis, and frozen shoulder. Following gentle exercises, Ayurvedic pain relief, a nourishing diet, and proper lifestyle changes will help improve mobility and reduce pain naturally. Would you like a customized Ayurvedic diet plan for nerve and joint health? Let me know how I can assist further!
