before food

2) brahmi vati 1 tab - 3 times after food :

3) मुलेठी churna -3 gm with warm honey in morning : मुलेठी गले और आवाज के लिए बहुत अच्छी मानी जाती है।

Speech challenges like stammering (tutlana) and excess saliva production can be addressed through a careful ayurvedic approach. It’s often related to imbalances in the Vata dosha, affecting communication and coordination. To help restore balance, start with some focused practices.

First, ensure you’re following a Vata-pacifying diet. Warm, moist, and mildly spiced foods like soups, stews, and cooked grains help stabilize. Avoid dry, cold, and gas-forming foods, as well as stimulants like coffee and tea which can aggravate Vata. Including ghee in your diet also nourishes the nervous system.

Practicing Pranayama, especially Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing), every morning for 5-10 minutes can improve prana (vital energy) balance and reduce anxiety, which is often associated with speech issues. Try to incorporate meditation daily, as calming the mind aids smooth speech.

Ashwagandha and Brahmi are excellent herbs for calming the mind and improving cognitive function, including speech. Boil one teaspoon each in a cup of milk, and drink daily before bed. Remember, these herbs should be used consistently over time for best results.

Jalneti, a nasal cleansing technique, can help in regulating excess mucus production reducing saliva issues. Use lukewarm salted water in a Neti pot. Ensure to learn and follow the technique correctly.

Lastly, specific speech exercises and therapies can be beneficial. Repeating words, slow reading, and practice with tongue twisters can improve articulation. It’s important to involve a speech therapist for specialized exercises tailored to your needs. Avoid rushing through words; take your time to speak slowly and clearly. Always approach any health advice tailored to your unique circumstances; consult with a healthcare provider for personalized care.

HELLO DEVANSH,

WHAT’S HAPPENING= you have difficulty in clear speech (stammering/shuttering), and while speaking, there’s too much saliva pooling in the mouth. Both make it harder to talk smoothly.

WHY IT HAPPENS (acc to ayurveda) -vata dosha imbalance-> causes interruptions, spasms, and lack of coordination in speech -Kapha dosha aggravation-> leads to excess saliva and heaviness in oral cavity

In modern medicine terms= this is often a neurological + psychological + mechanical issue (nervous system + speaking muscles + mind anxiety)

TREATMENT GOALS -Calm and balance vata for smooth coordination of speech -reduce kapha so saliva production becomes normal -improve confidence, concentration, and relaxation of mind -strengthen tongue, throat, and nervous system -give coping strategies through speech practice and yoga

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

1) BRAHMI GHRITA= 2 tsp in warm milk morning =improves memory, speech coordination, calms mind,

2) ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm milk at night =strnegthens nerves, reduces anxiety, balances vata

3) YASHTIMADHU CHURNA= 2gm with honey in morning =soothes throat, improves vocal clarity

4) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1 tsp with lukewarm water at night =balances kapha, maintains digestion, indirectly controls saliva

5) SHANKHAPUSHPI SYRUP= 2 tsp twice edaily =improves focus, memory, reduces overthinknig

EXTERNAL THERAPIES

1) NASYA= 2 drops of Anu taila in each nostril daily morning =nourishes brain, improve speech clarity

2) GANDUSHA (oil pulling with sesame oil )= hold warm oil in mouth 2-3 min daily =strengthens oral muscles, controls excess saliva

LIFESTYLE CHANGES -avoid fast eating, very cold drinks, and late nights (all worsen vata and kapha) -speak slowly, don’t rush, Read aloud daily for 5-10 minutes calmly -Keep stress low - meditation, music, journaling help -Avoid chewing gum, excess sweets , and heavy dairy (they increase saliva )

YOGA AND PRANAYAM -Bhramari pranayam= strengthens vocal cords -Anulom vilom= balances vata -Om chanting, slow and long= improves speech rhythm -Simhasana= strengthens tongue and throat muscles -Meditation=reduces anxiety that worsens stammering

DIET AND HOME REMEDIES -Prefer warm, light, easily digestible food -dal, khichdi, steamed veggies -use ginger + honey paste (small pinch) before speaking practice-> reduces saliva and clears throat -chew clove or cardamom occasionally to reduce excess salivation -avoid junk, fried, cold and very sweet foods -drink lukewarm water not chilled

This condition is not dangerous, but it can affect confidence. With ayurvedic medicines, therapies , speech practices and lifestyle balance, significant improvement is possible- especially at your age. Recovery takes patience , usually 3-6 months of consistent effort shows clear results

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

Tutlana or stammering, along with excess saliva formation, can be addressed through a Siddha-Ayurvedic lens by examining potential dosha imbalances. Often, issues in speech and oral function relate to vata disturbances. Here are some steps you can take:

1. Dietary Adjustments: Focus on grounding vata. Consume warm, cooked foods like soups and stews, avoiding raw and cold foods. Add spices like cumin, coriander, and fennel to support digestion and balance.

2. Herbs and Formulations: Use Brahmi and Ashwagandha, known for calming the nervous system. These can be taken as powders mixed with warm milk or as prescribed by an Ayurvedic practitioner.

3. Oil Pulling: Daily oil pulling with sesame or coconut oil can help strengthen oral tissues and reduce excess mucus. Swish oil in your mouth for about 10 minutes and then spit it out.

4. Pranayama and Yoga: Practice pranayama techniques like Nadi Shodhana (alternative nostril breathing) to harmonize energy channels and reduce overall stress which contributes to stammering.

5. Nasya Therapy: Apply 2-3 drops of Anu Taila (medicated oil) in each nostril every morning. It caters to clearing excess mucus and helps in maintaining respiratory health.

6. Lifestyle Changes: Establish a regular routine, especially a sleep schedule, to help stabilize vata energy. Try to minimize stressors and incorporate relaxation techniques.

If these interventions don’t lead to noticeable improvement within a reasonable time frame, consider consulting a specialized practitioner for personalized guidance, as persistent issues might need more in-depth intervention. Avoid delaying to consult if the problem escalates or significantly impacts daily life.
