Namaste 🙏 In Ayurveda, glowing skin and healthy hair are considered a reflection of good digestion (Agni), balanced doshas, and proper nourishment of the tissues (Dhatus). When the gut is healthy, nutrients are absorbed properly and this naturally improves skin radiance, hair strength, and overall vitality. 1. First Identify Your Skin Type and Concern Before choosing remedies, observe your skin carefully: Dry skin – roughness, dullness, flaky texture Sensitive skin – redness, irritation, easy reactions Dehydrated skin – tight feeling, lack of glow Acne-prone skin – pimples, clogged pores Normal/combination skin – mild oiliness with some dryness Once you understand your skin condition, you can choose the appropriate diet and care. 2. Diet for Gut Health and Skin Glow Since your diet already includes whole foods and vegetables, focus on nourishing foods that support digestion and tissue health. Include: Healthy fats and natural oils for dry skin Almonds, walnuts, soaked black raisins A small amount of ghee in meals Antioxidant-rich fruits Berries, pomegranate, amla, papaya Fiber-rich foods Moong dal, seasonal vegetables, whole grains Fermented foods in small amounts Buttermilk with roasted cumin and rock salt (good for gut flora) 3. Hydration Proper hydration helps maintain skin elasticity and glow. Drink 3–4 litres of water throughout the day, depending on body needs and climate. Avoid drinking large quantities at once, as it may disturb digestion. Prefer lukewarm or room-temperature water. 4. External Care for Skin Nourishment For maintaining skin health and glow: Gentle facial massage with kumkumadi oil before bedtime Use natural oils like coconut oil or almond oil if dryness is present Weekly oil massage (abhyanga) can improve skin texture and circulation One commonly used Ayurvedic oil is Kumkumadi Tailam, known for supporting complexion and skin nourishment. 5. Lifestyle for Gut and Skin Health Eat meals at regular times to maintain digestive rhythm Avoid overeating and very late dinners Practice light exercise or yoga daily to support metabolism Manage stress through pranayama, meditation, or mindful breathing Ensure 7–8 hours of proper sleep 6. Simple Gut-Supporting Habits Start the morning with warm water Include a pinch of ginger or cumin in meals to support digestion Eat fresh, warm food instead of processed or packaged foods

Namaste, Good gut health supports better skin, hair, and overall glow by improving digestion and nutrient absorption. Simple ways to maintain good gut health: Eat fresh, warm, and home-cooked food as much as possible. Maintain regular meal timings and avoid overeating. Include fiber-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Use mild spices like cumin, ginger, and fennel to support digestion. Stay well hydrated with warm water. Avoid excessive junk food, sugar, and processed items. Manage stress and sleep properly, as both affect digestion and skin. When digestion is balanced, it naturally reflects as clear skin, healthy hair, and better energy. Ayurvedic medicines sometimes used to support gut health include: Triphala Churna – traditionally used to support digestion and gentle detox. Amla (Amalaki) – commonly used to support digestion and improve skin health. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.

–When the gut microbiome is balanced, it improves nutrient absorption, hormone balance, and reduces inflammation, which directly reflects on your face and hair. Since you already eat mostly whole foods and vegetables and have no digestive issues, you’re already on a very good path. Now the goal is to optimize and diversify your gut microbiome. –Eat a variety of whole foods, especially fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fermented foods like yogurt. Stay hydrated, manage stress, and limit processed foods and excess sugar. Consistency with these habits helps maintain a balanced gut microbiome that reflects in healthier skin and hair. –Ahara (Diet): Take fresh, warm, home-cooked food. Include Yogurt, green vegetables, fruits, whole grains. Avoid junk, excessive sugar, and very oily or processed food. • Vihara (Lifestyle): Drink warm water, maintain regular meals, proper sleep (7–8 hrs), and practice light yoga/pranayama daily. • Pathya: Include Amla, Ginger, and Turmeric in diet to support digestion and skin health. • General Tip: Healthy digestion (Agni balance) improves nutrient absorption, which naturally supports glowing skin and healthy hair.

NAMASTE, It’s wonderful to hear that you’re focusing on gut health, as Ayurveda consider the gut the root of all health , including the glow on your face and the strength of your hair. The principle is simple= If the gut is clean and the digestive fire is strong, the body produces pure tissues , which manifests as a natural radiance Since you are just starting (< 1 month) and already eat whole foods with no issues, you are in an ideal position to build a strong foundation. THE CORE PRINCIPLE= BALANCE AGNI AND ELIMINATE AMA Your goal is to ensure the digestive fire is strong so it transforms food into Ojas (essence of immunity and glow) rather than ama (toxins which cause dullness) AYURVEDIC PROTOCOL 1) THE GOLDEN MORNING RITUAL This is non-negotiable for gut health and skin glow -UPON WAKING= scrape your tongue to remove overnight toxins. This immediately prevents re-absorption of toxins -Warm water= drink 1-2 glasses of warm water. If you can handle it, add a few drops of Lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey -The GLOW SHOT= soak 1 tsp of triphala Chura in a cup of warm water overnight. strain and drink it first thing in morning. TRIPHALA is the best gut healer- it detoxifies, tones the intestinal tract, and is a known skin brightener 2) FUEL YOUR FIRE - DIET You already eat whole foods, which is great Now you just need to optimise how and when -COOKED OVER RAW= Even though you eat vegetables, Ayurveda recommends cooked vegetables with a little ghee for lunch cooking makes. them easy to digest, and GHEE is a carrier of nutrients to the deep tissues -DIGESTIVE SPICES= include these in your cooking daily CUMIN, CORIANDER, FENNEL= this combination is a miracle for gut health. Ut reduces inflammation and aids digestion TURMERIC AND BLACK PEPEPR= a pinch in food helps detox the blood, giving skin its glow AVOID GLOW KILLERS -Cold drink/ice water = this extinguishes digestive fire. stick to warm or room temperature water throughout the day -Heavy, oily, processed food= even occasionally they create ama which clouds the skin SIMPLE HERBAL MEDICATION Since you have no digestive issue, we will use getle, rejuvenating herbs other than harsh treatments 1) CHYAWANPRASHA= 1 tsp with warm water in morning =this is best for hair and skin. It is the highest natural source of Vitamin C and a powerful digestive rejuvenator 2) TRIPHALA GUGGULU= 2 tabs at bedtime =to ensure regular bowel clearance and blood purification THE MIND-GUT CONNECTION Ayurveda states that stress directly causes gut inflammation, which leads to premature aging and hair loss -SELF MASSAE= Before showering, massage your body with warm sesame or coconut oil for 5-10 minutes. This calms the nervous system, which directly regulates digestion and brings blood flow to skin -SLEEP= be in bed by 10 pm. The body repairs the gut and skin tissue only during deep sleep EXERCISE ADVISED -cardio 20-30 min -viparita karani -sarvangasana -adho mukha svaasana -pawamuktasana -ardha matysendrasana -bhujangasana -malasana PRANAYAM -Nadi sodhana -kapalbhati DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU
