From last 30 days, I have a lot of cough and lot of sneezing and lot of Khasi - #18871

Please suggest the best solution so that it can be cured within one day or within seven days so that I am able to go and attend my presentation that is going to happen on first of April. Please guide me something that can be taken. I have kind of Allergy for churan so I need liquid medicine

Your symptoms sound like Kapha dosha imbalance, which often leads to respiratory issues, congestion, coughing, and sneezing. It’s quite common during this season due to the weather changes. First thing, stay away from cold, damp environments and keep warm as much as possible. For immediate relief, we need focus on remedies that soothe and balance Kapha quickly.

Since churan isn’t an option for you, let’s look at some liquid options. Try sipping on hot ginger tea throughout the day. It’s warming and helps reduce Kapha. Just boil a piece of fresh ginger in water for about 10 minutes and add a squeeze of lemon and a teaspoon of honey.

Another thing you might try is steam inhalation. Honestly, it’s quite simple - just add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to boiling water and inhale the steam. This will help clear blockages and ease breathing.

You could also try some Tulsi (holy basil) tea if you can get your hands on fresh Tulsi leaves. Boil them in warm water till it reduces a bit and sip on it. Just be consistent with this, at least a couple of cups spread throughout the day.

And, very importantly, avoid heavy, oily or cold foods as they increase Kapha. Stick to warm, light meals, like vegetable soups or broths, and include plenty of spices like black pepper, cumin, and coriander to assist your digestion and reduce mucus.

For bedtime, have a cup of warm golden milk (turmeric in milk) before sleep - it’s very soothing and acts as a natural anti-inflammatory.

If your symptoms worsen or you’re not feeling any relief in a couple of days, it might be worth consulting a medical professional to rule out any serious conditions. Hope you feel better soon!
