It seems you’re dealing with some persistent itching and hair loss, possibly due to a Pitta imbalance, which often leads to heat or inflammation in the body like skin issues and scalp irritation. With regard to itching and dietary triggers such as chicken and tamarind, these can indeed aggravate Pitta dosha. Let’s go through some Ayurveda-inspired solutions for you:

For the skin itching, a cooling and soothing oil like Coconut Oil or Neem Oil may be applied daily, gently massaging it onto the affected areas. Neem oil is particularly known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, which can help soothe the skin. Try to apply it in the evening and leave it overnight for best results. However, do a patch test first to ensure there’s no adverse reaction.

When it comes to diet, consider incorporating more Pitta-pacifying foods. This means choosing cool, heavy, and slightly dry foods. Reduce the intake of fiery and sour foods which can aggravate Pitta, such as chicken, tamarind, and even spicy foods. Instead, consider incorporating more cucumbers, melons, and Ayurvedic herbs like Shatavari or Guduchi into your meals. Drink coriander or fennel seed tea to keep the body cool and aid digestion.

For your scalp and hair loss, Bhringraj Oil is a potent remedy. Regularly massaging your scalp with Bhringraj Oil not only nourishes the roots but also cools the scalp, reducing heat and inflammation that leads to itching and hair loss. Apply the oil, leave it on for an hour or two, then wash it off with a gentle shampoo.

Internally, consuming Triphala can aid in detoxifying the body and balancing the doshas, improving skin and hair health. The Triphala powder can be taken with warm water before bedtime. However, ensure you’re not allergic or sensitive to any of these herbs.

If you suspect an infection, maintaining a diet that promotes the Kapha dosha can also be helpful, as it strengthens the body’s tissues. Focus on a blend of Tulsi leaves and turmeric in warm water, taken first thing in the morning, this mix serves as a mild detoxifier.

Addressing diet and lifestyle is key, so also ensure you’re staying hydrated and managing stress with meditation or yoga, as stress often exacerbates such conditions.

However, considering its severity, if you notice any persistence or worsening of symptoms, it’s crucial to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner or dermatologist to pinpoint the issue precisely.
