डॉक्टरों की प्रतिक्रियाएं

Your persistent symptoms might be indicating lingering imbalances post-flu, often reflecting a kapha-related issue, primarily in the respiratory system. Follow these specific guidelines to help alleviate the chest pain, congestion, and phlegm you’re experiencing. Begin incorporating warmth and lightness into both your diet and lifestyle. Opt for warm, cooked meals while avoiding cold or heavy foods, which can aggravate kapha. Ingredients like ginger and black pepper could be beneficial—try sipping on ginger tea with a pinch of black pepper through the day.

Steam inhalation can be very effective as well. Boil water and add eucalyptus or mint leaves and breathe in the steam for 10 minutes, twice daily, to help clear your airways. Make sure to cover your head with a towel to trap the steam while doing it.

Trikatu churna, a traditional Ayurvedic formulation containing ginger, long pepper, and black pepper, is also particularly potent for kapha conditions. Take 1/2 teaspoon with honey 30 minutes before your meals. It’s crucial to ensure that you don’t have any contraindications, so it’s worth consulting an expert for proper guidance.

Focus on digestion as it plays an important role in resolving phlegm. Avoid consuming heavy, oily, dairy-rich foods, as they can increase mucus production. Aim to keep a regular eating schedule with small, easily digestible meals; soups can be especially beneficial.

Keep your chest warm by using a hot water bottle, especially if experiencing pain. Gentle yoga poses, like the cat-cow and child’s pose, can support in improving respiratory function. Maintain adequate hydration with warm water.

These recommendations should not substitute medical advice. Should your symptoms persist or worsen, further evaluation might be necessary to ensure no underlying conditions remain. Be mindfl and seek professional medical attention if any acute distress or worsening over time is experienced.
