Dealing with a throat infection can be more annoying than painful sometimes, right? Here are some great home remedies in Marathi to help you ease the symptoms.
1. अद्रक (Ginger) - एमुलेसिव आहे व हा तुम्हाला सूज कमी करण्यात मदत करतो. Ginger tea works well — just boil some fresh slices in water and sip throughout the day. You can also add honey to sweeten and soothe the throat. Aim for 2 to 3 cups a day, too much can heaty & not good for some.
2. हळद (Turmeric) - अँटी-बेक्टेरिअल गुणधर्मांसह हा एक लाजवाब प्राकृतिक औषधी आहे. Turmeric with warm milk, often called “Golden Milk,” is classic. Mix a teaspoon of turmeric powder in a glass of warm milk and drink once in the morning and evening. Don’t overdo it – might upset some stomachs.
3. तुळस (Tulsi) - फडीदायक सर्दी-विरोधी आहे. Prepare a Tulsi decoction by boiling a handful of Tulsi leaves in water until it’s reduced by half. Strain and sip warm 3 times a day. It fights infection well.
4. gargle with warm salt water (नमक पाणी) – एक सोपं पण परिणामकारक उपाय. Dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water. Gargle 3-4 times daily. It’ll help reduce inflammation and kill bacteria.
5. Steam Inhalation (वाफ घेणे) - हवं तात्काळ आराम मिळू शकतो, add a few drops of eucalyptus oil in hot water and inhale the steam. It clears up mucus too.
Use these remedies but… take note — turmeric might not suit everyone, especially if you’re allergic to it, so watch for any reaction, tho’ rare. And if you got a sensitive stomach, go easy on the ginger. Allergies? Best double-check your tolerance, especially if you’re new to these remedies.
