–Green juices can be a healthy addition during pregnancy, but with some important considerations. They are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants—especially if they include ingredients like spinach, kale, cucumber, and apple. These nutrients support your overall health and your baby’s development –Instead of only juice, include smoothies or whole vegetables in your diet—they’re more balanced and filling.

Hello, Yes, you can consume green juices during pregnancy- but with care and moderation, especially from an Ayurvedic view In Ayurveda, pregnancy is a delicate state of balance. The focus is on -nourishing plasma/ nutrition -supporting gentle digestion -avoiding anything too cold, raw, or difficult to digest Green juices are often -cooling -light but sometimes hard to digest (especially raw leafy blends) So they are not universally recommended daily, especially in large amounts When green juices can help If prepared properly they may -provide iron and folate helpful for mother and baby -support hydration -aid mild detox only if digestion is strong Important precautions very important 1) Avoid raw, cold juices early morning on empty stomach =cam weaken digestion and cause gas/bloating 2) Do not rely on juice for “oxygenation” -> This is a modern myth. Oxygen supply comes from -healthy blood -proper nutrition -good nutrition Not directly from green juices 3) Avoid excessive bitter or astringent greens -> too much can aggravate vata and may not support fetal nourishment 4) Hygiene is critical -> improperly washed greens can carry infections(very risk in pregnancy) Better Ayurvedic way to consume greens Instead of raw green juices, Ayurveda prefers -lightly cooked vegetables like spinach, bottle gourd -warm vegetable soups -fresh juices in small quantity, preferably -diluted -at room temperature -with a pinch of cumin or ginger for digestion Safer juice options (occassionally) -spinach + apple mild and balanced -corainder + mint + lemon very small amount -bottle gourd juice only if fresh Avoid -very bitter juices like karela, neem based blends -packaged or cold stored juices -ice cold smotthies Favour warm, fresh, cooked, nourishing foods Eat at regular times Supports digestion first- nutrition follows Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you Hola: Sí, puedes consumir jugos verdes durante el embarazo, pero con cuidado y moderación, especialmente desde una perspectiva ayurvédica. Come a horas regulares. Gracias.
