rf ablation - #17294
I’ve been dealing with chronic back pain for almost 4 years now, and nothing seems to work for long. Painkillers give temporary relief, but then the pain comes back even worse. I tried physiotherapy, yoga, even some home remedies, but nothing has fixed it completely. My doctor finally suggested RF ablation, saying it can help by burning the nerve that’s causing the pain. It sounds intense, and I’m not sure if I should go for it. They explained that RF ablation is a procedure where they use radiofrequency energy to heat and destroy the nerve fibers, stopping them from sending pain signals. But what if the pain comes back after a few months? And if they destroy the nerve, doesn’t that affect other functions too? I’ve also heard that some people still feel pain after RF ablation, and I don’t wanna go through all that just for temporary relief. That’s why I started looking into Ayurveda. I read that Ayurveda treats pain by balancing doshas and improving circulation rather than just blocking nerve signals. Does Ayurveda have an alternative treatment for nerve pain that can actually heal the root cause? Are there any specific herbs or therapies that help with nerve-related pain, so I don’t have to rely on RF ablation? If I go ahead with RF ablation, would Ayurvedic treatments still work to support healing after the procedure? I really want to find a long-term solution and not just keep suppressing the symptoms. Also, are there any dietary or lifestyle changes that could help reduce nerve inflammation naturally?
