Have you checked for H. pylori infection or food intolerances? A detailed assessment will help create a personalized plan. IBS can cause digestive discomfort, pain, bloating, and weight loss, but Ayurveda offers natural solutions. Start with Triphala Churna (1 tsp with warm water at night) to relieve constipation and improve digestion. Bilwadi Churna and Avipattikar Churna can help with acidity and stomach sounds. Eat light, warm, home-cooked meals, avoiding spicy, fried, and processed foods. Drink buttermilk with ajwain and cumin tea for better digestion. Manage stress with yoga and deep breathing.

Hi Abdulha, May I know since when you have been diagnosed with IBS? What is the consistency of your bowel usually? Have you taken any medicines for IBS? Have you noticed stress triggering you bowel movements? May I know your current height and weight please?

Hey there, it sounds like you're dealing with quite a bit. IBS can be really tricky, but Ayurveda offers some insights that might help with those symptoms like belly pain, constipation, and weight loss. First, let's talk diet. For IBS, it's often due to an imbalance in Vata dosha, but there might be a mix of others too. So try warm, grounded, easy-to-digest foods. Think kichadi for meals – it's like a cozy feeling in a bowl. Avoid cold, raw foods, and definitely stay away from very spicy, fried, and overly processed stuff. Hydration's also gonna be your friend – warm water or herbal teas like ginger or fennel, they've been known to calm the belly. It's like giving your stomach a hug. Now for the belly pain and those weird watery noises (gurgling, we hate those noises). Trifala churna before bed can help ease constipation. Take about half teaspoon with warm water - should keep things moving without being harsh. But remember, moderation is key; we don't want a rollercoaster down there. Introducing more fiber from natural sources can really help too – oats and fruits like apples and bananas can be gentle and kind to your belly. Probiotics, like in homemade buttermilk, support the gut, they probably gonna feel great in there. One more thing – stress and IBS are like, unfortunately, best buddies. Find ways to chill out, whether that's yoga, meditation, or just a walk in nature, it'll help your whole system. But, because this weight loss thing sometimes could be something else too, just make sure to keep in touch with your doc. In case there's something bigger, they can keep an eye on it. Everyone's body is unique, so observe how yours responds and adapt accordingly. Safe and steady adjustments are better than sudden changes, trust the journey and give your body some time.
