Hello Muhammed, Your symptoms suggest Vata imbalance and weakened Shukra Dhatu ( reproductive tissue), leading to erectile dysfunction and low libido. Do you experience stress, fatigue, or sleep disturbances? Have you noticed any urinary issues, diabetes, or heart problems? To improve erection and libido, take Ashwagandha Lehyam (1 tsp twice daily) and Kapikacchu churna (1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime) after two hours of diner. Use Shatavari and Safed Musli capsules for hormone balance. Massage the lower abdomen and groin with Dhanvantaram oil to improve blood circulation. Avoid excessive caffeine, cold foods, and late-night meals, and practice deep breathing (Anulom Vilom) and stress reduction techniques. Let me know if you also experience nighttime urination or weakness after intercourse, as these may need additional treatment.

It’s understandable to be frustrated with this, especially as it’s something you enjoyed and miss. Let’s dive into some Ayurveda stuff that might help. So, at 64, you’re dealing with changes that are pretty common with age, but that doesn’t mean you have to just live with them. Ayurveda looks at sexual health through the lens of doshas, dhatus, and energy.

First, we should think about the Vata dosha. As we age, Vata tends to increase naturally, which can lead to dryness, stress, and anxiety – all things that can impact libido and performance. To balance Vata, try incorporating more oils into your diet and routines. Maybe use sesame oil for Abhyanga (self-massage) before showers, it’s warming and grounding.

Diet wise, focus on foods that are warm, cooked, and nourishing. Like stews, soups, whole grains, and nuts. Avoid too much raw or cold food as these can aggravate Vata. And spices like ginger, cinnamon, and cumin can aid digestion and circulation which is essential for energy.

Let’s talk about some herbs. Ashwagandha could be useful here, it’s known for boosting vitality and reducing stress. Start with a small dose, maybe 1/2 teaspoon daily mixed in warm milk or water, taken at night. Shatavari is another herb that’s good for overall well-being and can support reproductive health.

Make sure you’re sleeping well; poor sleep disrupts everything’, even libido. Try and keep a consistent sleep schedule, it really hace an impact. Engage in bonding activities with your wife–non-sexual ones are important too, for deepening your connection outside the bedroom.

But, importantly, do consult with a healthcare provider to rule out serious conditions and make sure any herbal or lifestyle changes align with any medications or treatments you’re currently on. Just remember, it can be a journey to bring balance back, take it slow and easy.
