Doctors’ responses
NAMASTE, Before I give any advice on detoxification to tour body I have some questions 1. Since when have you been experiencing Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)? 2. Do you have any digestive issues like bloating, acidity, or constipation? 3. How is your sleep quality? 4. Do you experience dizziness, or frequent body aches along with fatigue? 5. How often do you urinate in a day? Do you feel any burning sensation or difficulty while urinating? 6. What is your daily water intake? 7. How is your stress level? Do you feel exhausted often? 8…Have you tried any previous detox methods? If yes, what were the results? 9… Have you undergone any recent blood tests like CBC,S.CREATININE,THYROID PROFILE,BLOOD SUGAR ,URINE ROUTINE??
To suggest a proper detox plan, I would need to understand your condition better. Here are some important questions:
How long have you been experiencing chronic fatigue, headaches, and low immunity? Do you have any underlying medical conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, or thyroid issues? Have you noticed any specific triggers that worsen your symptoms, like stress, certain foods, or lack of sleep? How regular are your bowel movements, and do you experience constipation, bloating, or acidity? How is your sleep quality, and do you wake up feeling refreshed? Once I have this information, I can recommend a suitable Ayurvedic detox plan to help you manage your symptoms…
Hi Suhasini,
Thank you for sharing your concerns. To understand your condition better, can you tell me if you experience any digestive issues like bloating, constipation, or indigestion? How is your sleep quality and energy level throughout the day? Additionally, do you have any food sensitivities or allergies that affect your digestion or overall health?
When it comes to detoxing and addressing issues like CFS, immunity, constipation, headaches, well, it’s like solving a puzzle, right? Your body’s unique, so let’s see what might work for you.
First off, keep up with the ajwain and jeera! They’re wonderful digestive aids. But detox needs a bit more than just that. Since you’re vegetarian, let’s make sure you’re getting plenty of fiber, that’s really key. Something like adding more green leafy vegetables (spinach or amaranth) or fruits (like papaya or pears) could help move things along and aid digestion.
For the detox part, try including a cup of warm water with a teaspoon of lemon juice and honey first thing in the morning. This combo has been celebrated in Ayurveda for gently waking up the digestive system and detoxifying the liver.
Then, consider Triphala - it’s an Ayurvedic remedy consisting of three fruits, helps with constipation and is mild enough for daily use. You could take it as a powder mixed with warm water at night. It might not taste the best, admittedly, but hey, worth it for good digestion!
About hydration, less urination sometimes means you need to sip more water throughout the day. Aim for warm water instead of ice cold—easier on the digestion! Adding some cumin seeds to water and sipping it can also aid digestion (and subtly supports detox).
Headaches can be tiresome! They can have varied reasons, maybe stress or dehydration. Practice a bit of mindfulness, or pranayama (like Anulom Vilom) daily, just ten minutes can make a difference. It’s not just calming to mind, it’s calming to the body too.
And on CFS, beyond detox, think restorative routines - regular sleep schedules, gentle yoga, or tai chi might help balance your energy levels.
Remember though, none of this stuff, it’s not a fix-all, right? If your symptoms persist or worsen, don’t hesitate to reach out to a healthcare provider. They can work with you to make sure everything’s a-okay. Taking things slow and steady is key here.
