Hi Biniam, I understand your concerns about asthma and hair loss. 1. How often do you experience asthma attacks, and do you notice any specific triggers like perfumes, dust, or weather changes? 2. Are you using any medication or inhalers for asthma management, and do you follow any specific lifestyle or diet? 3. Have you noticed the hair loss pattern (e.g., thinning, receding hairline) or is it more widespread?

Alright, dealing with both asthma and hair loss can be quite a handful. Let's dig into it using some Ayurvedic insights that might just help. Starting with the asthma bit - sounds like you're experiencing pretty classic vata and kapha dosha imbalances. In Ayurveda, asthmatic symptoms often arise from kapha blocking the channels, mixed with vata's motion causing sudden attacks. A practical approach? Try including turmeric milk (haldi doodh) daily. Just warm milk with a pinch of turmeric – it can be soothing for respiratory issues. Avoid cold foods and drinks, they can aggravate kapha and make things sticky, literally! Managing hair loss, known as khalitya in Ayurveda, often involves balancing pitta. Pitta's heat can cause hair to thin out over time, really annoying. Consider scalp massages with bhringraj oil. Massaging stimulates hair follicles and might calm down that fiery pitta. Also, incorporating amla into your diet, maybe as juice or a supplement, can strengthen the hair from within. Now, I know routines can be time-consuming but try pranayama exercises, especially those aiding respiratory health like Anulom Vilom and Kapalbhati. They’d set a morning tone, balancing doshas, clearing nasal pathways, just a few minutes daily can make a difference. As for diet, balancing your meals can help regulate your body's internal harmony. Stick to fresh, cooked veggies, grains like quinoa, and minimize spicy or oily foods which can stir up imbalance. But, if symptoms become severe, don’t skip visiting a medical professional for emergency help – that's a priority. Breathing problems shouldn't be taken lightly. Ayurveda can support but sometimes modern interventions are vital. Mix these practices into your lifestyle and see if the changes add up over time. Hope this lends some relief!
