Hello Wasim, Have you tested your testosterone levels? Premature ejaculation (PE) can be caused by multiple factors, including stress, anxiety, depression, and even physical imbalances. In Ayurveda, it is often linked to Vata imbalance and Shukra Dhatu Kshaya (depletion of reproductive energy). Depression and mental stress can worsen PE, as they impact the nervous system and hormonal balance.

Fruits and Dry Fruits for PE Bananas: Dates: Almonds and Walnuts: Figs: l Pomegranate: Raisins . Additional Tips Stress Management: Practice deep breathing, yoga, or meditation to calm the mind. Ashwagandha and Brahmi are beneficial for reducing stress. Diet: Eat a balanced diet with warm, nourishing foods. Avoid excessive spicy, oily, or processed foods. Physical Activity: Regular exercise improves blood flow, stamina, and hormonal balance. Sleep: Ensure proper rest, as lack of sleep can worsen PE. Lifestyle Discipline: Avoid excessive alcohol, smoking, or caffeine, as they can impair sexual function.

Wasim, premature ejaculation (PE) can have multiple causes, including psychological factors like stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as physical issues like hormonal imbalances or nerve sensitivity. Since you’ve had this issue for two years, addressing both mental and physical aspects is important. Yes, depression can contribute to PE. It affects brain chemicals that regulate mood, arousal, and ejaculation. Stress and anxiety about performance can make the problem worse. Certain foods help improve stamina, blood flow, and testosterone levels: 1. Walnuts & Almonds – Rich in Omega-3s, they improve blood circulation and nerve function. 2. Pumpkin Seeds & Flaxseeds – Contain zinc, which boosts testosterone. 3. Bananas – High in potassium and bromelain, which improve stamina. 4. Pomegranates – Increase nitric oxide levels for better blood flow. 5. Watermelon – Contains citrulline, which helps relax blood vessels. 6. Dates (Khajoor) – Naturally boost libido and improve endurance. Ashwagandha churna 1/2 tsp with milk at night

Hello Wasim, Could you share if you’ve experienced any recent changes in your mental health, such as stress, anxiety, or depression? Ayurveda suggests that premature ejaculation is often related to an imbalance in the nervous system and the reproductive organs. Herbs like Ashwagandha, Safed Musli, and Shatavari may help in strengthening the reproductive system and calming the nervous system. As for diet, consuming fruits like bananas, pomegranates, and dry fruits like almonds, walnuts, and pistachios can support sexual health. It’s also important to engage in stress-reducing practices such as yoga and meditation. Have you tried any lifestyle changes or therapies so far?

Hello Yes definitely stress depression , poor sleep quality causes premature ejaculation.

In these treating the cause is very important Firstly meditation plays very important role in ur case sit in room just concentrate on breathing later on chant Om mantra atleast 10-15 mins you will feel difficult in starting while meditating later on it will be easy . Every day walk for 30 mins in morning hours preferably. Manage stress. Avoid spicy food & sweet & oil fried items, processed food, red meat , no alcohol and smoking. Take a balanced diet (vegetables and fruits and dry fruits) Like walnut, almonds, pista(2-3).

1) stresscom cap 1-0-1 after food ( as it contains only ashwagandha best for both depression and PE) 2) shilajit gold 1-0-1 after food

Thank you Dr.Nikitha

Premature ejaculation (PE) is a common concern, and there are indeed some Ayurvedic approaches that might help. Yes, depression and anxiety can contribute to PE, as they affect mental stress and hormonal balance. Addressing both physical and psychological factors is essential for lasting improvement.

In Ayurveda, premature ejaculation is often linked to imbalances in the Vata dosha. A calming lifestyle and diet that’s pacifying to Vata can be beneficial. For fruits and dry fruits, which are part of such a diet, you might consider incorporating:

1. Dates: Rich in essential vitamins, dates can help boost your energy and have a calming effect. Soak a few dates in milk overnight and eat them in the morning.

2. Figs: Soaked figs also can help replenish energy reserves and support sexual health. Consume 2-3 soaked figs daily.

3. Ayurvedic Herbs: Ashwagandha and Shatavari are two adaptogenic herbs that can promote stamina and reduce stress. You might consider taking them as a supplement. Dosage can vary, so it’d be wise to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized advice.

Remember to maintain a balanced diet that includes warm, cooked foods (avoid cold and raw items as they can aggravate Vata). Use plenty of ghee and sesame oil in your cooking too. Regular physical activity such as yoga or even just brisk walking can stabilize mood and improve stamina. Avoid excessive stimulants, like caffeine and alcohol, which might aggravate symptoms. Meditation can also be very effective in reducing anxiety and stress levels, thereby helping the condition.

For now, these are basic starting points that align with Ayurvedic principles. You might also want to consult a healthcare provider to check for other potential contributing factors, especially since the issue has been persisting for two years. And remember, this journey of healing might take some time, but it’s good you’re taking steps toward addressing it.
