U would suggest first to undergo us scan and thyroid profile once pcos / thyroid issues to be ruled we can start treatment a/c to medicines
First you need to Sit, relax, and think about your lifestyle over the past three months. Assess your sleep patterns, food habits, stress levels, and exercise routine. If everything seems normal but periods are still irregular, get a pelvic scan and Thyroid Profile to identify underlying causes. Maintain proper hydration by drinking plenty of water throughout the day increase fruits and vegetable intake for essential nutrients.
Avoid Sugary, Maida foods, non-vegetarian food, and spicy foods. Drink Jeera (cumin) hot water – Drink 150-200 ml in the morning and evening. Methi (fenugreek) hot water – Consume 150-200 ml twice daily to support hormonal balance. After the Report findings specific treatment can be planned
Hi,
I understand your concern. Can you share if you have any stress, weight changes, or recent lifestyle changes that might have affected your menstrual cycle? Do you experience any other symptoms like pain, bloating, or mood swings before or during your periods?
Ayurveda would recommend balancing your Vata and Pitta doshas to restore menstrual regularity. Herbs like Shatavari and Ashoka are beneficial for menstrual health, while a diet focused on nourishing and grounding foods could support hormonal balance. Reducing stress through meditation or yoga might also be helpful.
Hi , shailja
Dont worry please tell me your body weight and after listen your chief complaint i would like to advise you😊 Adv. Following investigation Complete blood count USG pelvis B/L ovarie Then come back for consultation
Hello Shailja, According to your symptoms I would like to advise you to go for an Uterine scan and routine blood tests ( CBC, ESR , CRP) to rule out inflammation. Did you take any hormonal medication in last 2-3 cycles? Any abdominal pain ?
First do USG scan ( abdo + pelvis ) along with it do blood test - CBC WITH ESR, CRP , THRYOID PROFILE
Till then you can start this medications 1. Saptasaram kashyam tablet 2-0-2 before breakfast and dinner 2. Trayantyadi kashayam 15ml-0-15 ml + 45 ml water after breakfast and dinner 3. Shatavari ghritham 1 tsp at bed time followed by warm water
It sounds like what you’re experiencing is quite distressing, especially with the changes to your menstrual cycle, and the challenges in conceiving. In Ayurveda, menstrual irregularities and spotting are often related to an imbalance in the doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta. These imbalances can disrupt the proper function of the reproductive system.
First, it would be beneficial to find ways to balance these doshas. Consider incorporating a Vata-Pitta pacifying diet and lifestyle changes. This means focusing on warm, cooked meals, avoiding spicy, fried or very oily foods, staying hydrated with warm water and herbal teas like ginger or fennel tea can be soothing.
Also, adding certain herbs could be helpful. Ashwagandha and Shatavari are both renowned in Ayurveda for supporting female reproductive health. They can help in balancing hormones and promoting regular menstrual cycles. It’s best taken under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner who can tailor the dosage to your needs.
Yoga and Pranayama (breathing exercises) can also be beneficial. Gentle yoga postures that support the reproductive system include Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Pose) and Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclining Bound Angle Pose). Regular practice of deep breathing exercises can help calm the mind and reduce stress, which sometimes contributes to menstrual irregularities.
Additionally, keeping a regular routine—waking up, eating, and going to bed at the same times—can help regulate your cycles. Routine is especially important for Vata types.
However, given your aim to conceive and the changes in your bleeding, see an Ayurvedic practitioner or gynecologist to rule out any underlying conditions like hormonal imbalances or fibroids. It’s crucial to get a proper diagnosis to tailor the treatment precisely.
In some cases, immediate or alternative medical intervetion may be necessary. Listen to your body and how it responds, and be patient with the process—it can take time to restore balance and regularity.
