Dr. Manjusha Vikrant Pate
With over 18 years of dedicated Ayurvedic practice, I have focused extensively on treating skin and hair disorders, integrating classical Panchakarma therapies with individualized care. A major aspect of my clinical approach involves Upakarma procedures—supportive therapies within Panchakarma—which I customize based on each patient’s Prakriti (constitutional type). I believe true healing begins when treatments are aligned with the body’s natural balance, and this philosophy guides every aspect of my work. My specialization includes the preparation and use of Ayurvedic formulations that I personally design, including face packs, hair packs, body oils, and facial oils—each one carefully selected and recommended according to the patient’s specific dosha and skin/hair condition. These formulations are result-oriented and rooted in time-tested Ayurvedic principles, ensuring safe, natural, and sustainable outcomes. In my practice, Ayurvedic facials are more than just cosmetic procedures; they are therapeutic treatments tailored to the unique constitution of each individual, aiming to restore inner and outer harmony. By incorporating dosha-based skincare routines and traditional beauty therapies, I help patients achieve visible improvement in conditions like pigmentation, acne, hair fall, and premature aging—without relying on chemical-based solutions. My goal is to blend classical Ayurveda with a practical, patient-focused approach. Whether managing chronic skin concerns, offering customized herbal solutions, or delivering rejuvenative Panchakarma therapies, I ensure each treatment is deeply personalized, holistic, and rooted in authentic Ayurvedic wisdom.

When it comes to addressing skin pigmentation, frizzy hair, and digestive issues like irregular stools, Ayurveda offers a holistic approach. First, we need to understand that these concerns often stem from imbalances in the doshas — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. For pigmentation, it is typically associated with Pitta imbalance, so cooling and soothing approaches are recommended. You could try a herbal face mask twice a week featuring sandalwood powder and rosewater. Simply mix a tablespoon of sandalwood powder with enough rose water to form a paste, apply to the face, and leave it for 15 minutes before washing off with lukewarm water. It helps in soothing the skin and lightening pigmentation over time. For frizzy hair, it's likely a Vata imbalance. Warm oil massages using sesame or coconut oil can be very beneficial. Warm the oil slightly and massage your scalp for around 15 minutes once a week, then leave it on for another 30 minutes to an hour before shampooing. This helps in nourishing and smoothing the hair. Regarding back acne, another Pitta issue, Neem or turmeric paste can work wonders. You can make a paste with neem powder or fresh turmeric, add a bit of water, apply to the affected area, and leave it for 20 minutes before rinsing. Doing this regularly should help in managing acne. For your digestive concerns, start with Triphala powder. Triphala is a classic Ayurvedic remedy to support healthy digestion and regular bowel movements. You can take half a teaspoon of Triphala powder with warm water at bedtime every night. Make sure to stay hydrated throughout the day. On lifestyle, follow a daily routine that includes yoga or gentle exercise, and avoid skipping meals. Eating at consistent times can greatly help improve digestion. Focus on a diet rich in fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables and avoid excessive spicy, oily, and processed foods. Remember that consistency is crucial in Ayurveda, and changes may take time. Please consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice if conditions worsen.
