Hello there, sounds like you’re really dealing with quite a mix of things here. Having smelly fungus in your ears, alongside your sinus troubles and hypothyroidism, can be a lot to handle. When it comes to fungal issues in the ears, it’s usually due to an imbalance in the body’s internal moisture levels and can be related to Kapha dosha getting aggravated.

Now, you’re mentioning a runny nose & sneezing because of sinus issues – this is also largely tied to excess Kapha. A congestion reducing steam treatment can work wonders. Try inhaling steam infused with few drops of eucalyptus oil. It helps clear up blockages. I mean, it can make a difference but do remember, too hot can harm, so go gentle.

As for hypothyroidism, it could be playing a big role in weight gain and body swelling. Ayurveda looks at thyroid issues as a disconnect between Kapha and Pitta doshas. The sluggish digestion is a sign that your Agni (digestive fire) could use a boost. You might find triphala supplementation to be beneficial in gently stimulating digestion. Take about half a teaspoon mixed with warm water before bed. You’re doing it to balance your metabolism, that’s the key.

For the pain and swelling, a gentle self-massage with warm sesame oil can be soothing, particularly for the feet. Do it in circular motions daily before a warm bath. Believe me, a consistent routine of these lifestyle nudges can gradually ease discomfort.

Don’t forget, diet can be your ally! Focus on light, warm foods – think stalk veggies like carrots and fresh ginger tea to ignite that Agni. Drink plenty of warm water throughout the day to flush out toxins and stay hydrated.

But hey, please keep an eye on your symptoms, especially if they get worse. Some things can’t wait for the body to figure itself out, you know? Always take critical symptoms to a healthcare professional, especially since you’re already dealing with hypothyroidism. Trust your instincts on that!

Take care, and be patient; your body’s got a lot to tell you, it just needs some guidance.
