When dealing with kidney stones and recurrent urinary tract infections, aligning lifestyle and dietary choices with Ayurvedic principles can offer support, even when conventional medicine might not have a definitive diagnosis for related immunity issues. From an Ayurvedic perspective, kidney stones are linked to an imbalance of the doshas, particularly Pitta and Vata, and often rooted in poor digestion or improper diet.

To help manage these concerns, first and foremost, maintaining proper hydration is key. Drink plenty of water—enough to keep your urine light yellow or clear. Ayurveda also suggests including coconut water; its Pitta-pacifying and diuretic properties may help flush the kidneys naturally. Avoidance of too much caffeine and alcohol is crucial as well, as they can dehydrate you further.

Regarding your immunity, maintaining warmth is recommend (living a Vata-soothing lifestyle), because cold weather and foods can increase Vata and further stress your immune system. Soups and stews with warming spices like ginger, cumin, and turmeric might benefit, as they enhance digestion (Agni) and supporting immunity.

Also, consider the herbs Punarnava and Gokshura, traditionally used in Ayurveda for renal support and reducing kidney stone formation. Be sure to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized recommendations and proper dosage.

Stress can exacerbate both urinary issues and immunity struggles. Incorporating mindful practices such as yoga, and meditation, can positively affect your body’s stress response and general health.

Given your history with cortisone and Plaquenil and the diagnoses speculations, regular monitoring by a healthcare professional is vital. If symptoms like high fever, severe pain, or blood in urine occur, seek medical care immediately—ignoring these could lead to critical complications.

Lastly, while Ayurveda offers potential relief, ensure these approaches complement your healthcare provider’s advice and not replace essential medical treatments.
