Ah, you’re having a tough time with that, huh? So, let’s dive right in. 19 days is indeed a long cycle and added to that the back pain and fibroids, it is understandable you’re concerned. Fibroids can mess with your cycle, cause prolonged bleeding and sometimes, they need special attention.

But first things first… bleeding more than usual can lead to iron-deficiency anemia, so it’s important you don’t ignore this. Clots could also be your body’s way of trying to regulate the heavy flow, still, the body needs guidance to get back into balance.

In the realm of Ayurveda, we’re looking at balancing those doshas. Excessive bleeding often indicates an imbalance in your Pitta. This is a time to cool things down, no fiery foods… avoid spicy, sour, and overly salty dishes right now. Think cooling, like cucumber, mint, and coconut water.

Incorporate some Ayurvedic herbs like Ashoka, which is traditionally used for uterine health, regulation, and strengthening. Start with a decoction if you can find it, or there are capsules available too. Abhyanga (self-massage) with sesame oil might help alleviate some back pain and promote circulation, but get check-up for those fibroids if the pain persists. Ginger tea could ease pain a little via its anti-inflammatory nature.

And about your fibroids, it’s wise to keep a watchful eye on them. Sometimes they don’t cause big issues, other times they grow. So, maybe have them assessed again, just to stay safe.

Moreover, consider paying your doctor a visit. Especially if this prolonged bleeding keeps up or if pains increase, traditional treatment might be needed too. Can’t let it slide when it comes to health, right?

Lastly, pay attention to any changes in lifestyle, stress matters. It’s sometimes a silent culprit. More rest, less stress. Balance, it’s all about finding that balance. But dont sit on this, get checked if symptoms don’t improve.
