Doctors’ responses

Thank you for sharing such an honest and important concern. Loss of interest in intimacy, vaginal dryness, and anxiety at this stage of life are often linked to imbalances in hormones, vata, and emotional stress However, to provide safe and effective care, I would need to understand your full case history, body constitution (prakriti), and current dosha imbalances in detail. For this reason, I offer personalized paid consultations, where I can design a full protocol tailored specifically for your needs. Wishing you strength and balance,

It sounds like you're dealing with a complex mix of concerns, and it's super brave of you to bring this up. In Ayurveda, we often look at this from multiple angles, right? So no interest in sex might be related to an imbalance in your doshas—especially Vata and Pitta can be out of wack here, contributing to anxiety and low libido. First things first, let's chat a bit about diet coz it plays a big role. You might want to add more grounding and nourishing foods. Think warm, cooked meals, like stews and soups. Ghee can be such a friend for balancing Vata. It's almost magical in its ability to provide warmth and nourishment. And for anxiety, Ashwagandha is kinda like the go-to in Ayurveda. It's known for calming the mind and also boosting energy levels. Try mixing a half teaspoon of Ashwagandha powder in warm milk or water before bed. Do that every night for a while and see how ya feel. For the dryness issue, maybe think about using sesame oil. It's great for external application as it helps with lubrication and moisturizing. A gentle massage might be relaxing too. On the emotional and mental side, ever tried meditation or controlled breathing? Like, pranayama practices? Sometimes just sitting down and focusing on your breath helps a lot with anxiety. However, if you feel your symptoms aren’t improving, even with these changes, don't hesitate to consult either another healthcare provider or a certified Ayurvedic practitioner. And hey, don't forget regular exercise! Even a simple walk can do wonders for the body's natural energy and flow. Hope this helps a bit. You're not alone, and it's totally okay to seek out more help if you need it. Trust yourself to notice what works and what doesn't. Health is such a personal thing!
