Doctors’ responses

Thank you for reaching out and trusting me with your health journey, Divya ji. Aapka sandesh padh kar mehsoos hua ki aap apne sharir aur mann, dono ko lekar kaafi samvedansheel hain. Ek maa ke roop mein delivery ke baad sharir mein jo badlav aate hain, woh samanya hain — lekin agar 2 saal baad bhi aapko apna purana glow, urja aur sukoon wapas mehsoos nahi ho raha, to isse nazarandaaz karna theek nahi hoga.

Aapne bataya ki aapka skin tone ab pehle jaisa nahi raha, wajan kam ho raha hai, choti baaton par gussa aa jata hai, stress hai, aur periods bhi theek se nahi aate. Ye sabhi cheezen ek doosre se judi hui hain. Ayurved ke hisaab se yeh lakshan dikhate hain ki sharir ka andaruni santulan — khaaskar hormones, pachan, aur maansik sthiti — thoda hil gaya hai. Delivery ke baad sharir ko poori tarah se sudharne ka samay aur sahara nahi mila, isliye ab yeh prakop dikh rahe hain.

🌿 Aapke Lakshan ko Samajhne ki Koshish Karein: 1. Twacha ka dull ho jaana aur wajan ghatna Ye is baat ka sanket hai ki aapke sharir mein poshan ki kami ho gayi hai. Jab hamara pachan theek se kaam nahi karta, ya sharir mein ras aur rakta jaise dhatu utne nahi bante, to iska asar sabse pehle twacha par aur wajan par padta hai. 2. Gussa, chinta aur choti baaton par reaction Ye Vata aur Pitta dosha ke asantulan ka prabhav hota hai. Delivery ke baad Vata prakop hona bahut aam baat hai — jis se anxiety, ghabrahat, chanchalta aur mood swings aate hain. Jab iske saath Pitta bhi badh jaye, to gussa aur stress dono badh jaate hain. 3. Periods ka irregular aur kam hona Ye bata raha hai ki Apana Vayu — jo periods ko regulate karta hai — sahi se kaam nahi kar raha. Jab garbhashaya ki safai poori tarah nahi ho pati, ya sharir mein dhatu kshaya ho jata hai, to periods time par nahi aate, kabhi bahut kam hote hain ya kabhi miss bhi ho jaate hain.

🪔 Aapke Liye Ayurvedik Chikitsa Ki Salah:

Divya ji, ab aapke sharir ko dobara se santulan, poshan aur vishraam chahiye — taki andar se aapka glow, energy aur sukoon wapas aaye. Chikitsa ke teen pehlu rahenge: aahar (diet), vihar (lifestyle), aur aushadhi (herbal support).

1. Aahar (Diet): • Aapke liye ghrit (ghee), badam, khajoor, munakka, aur sukhadi jaise poshak padarth bahut upyogi rahenge. Inmein sharir ko dobara se mazboot banane ki shakti hoti hai. • Din mein do baar saunf, ajwain, dhania aur mulethi ka halka kadha le sakti hain — ye agni ko sudharne aur stress kam karne mein madad karega. • Junk food, bahut thanda ya sukha khana, aur over-fermented cheezen abhi avoid karna best rahega.

2. Vihar (Lifestyle): • Har din nariyal ya bala taila se body massage (Abhyanga) karna aapke liye ek uphaar hoga. Ye Vata ko shaant karega aur twacha ko poshan dega. • Thoda surya prakaash lena, yaani dhoop mein 10-15 minute baithna — vitamin D ke alawa aapke mood aur hormones dono ke liye upyogi hai. • Yog aur pranayama mein: • Vajrasana, Bhujangasana aur Baddha Konasana — reproductive organs aur mood ke liye bahut labhdayak hain. • Anulom Vilom, Bhramari aur Sheetali — man ko shaant karne mein sahayak.

3. Aushadhi (Herbal Support):

Yeh kuch samanya churn aur asav aapke liye upyogi ho sakte hain — lekin shubh hoga agar aap kisi Ayurvedic practitioner se mil kar confirm kar lein: • Ashwagandha churna — raat ko garm doodh ke saath 1 chammach, stress aur urja ke liye. • Shatavari kalpa — hormonal balance aur reproductive health ke liye. • Kumaryasava — periods aur garbhashaya ki safai mein madad karta hai. • Draksharishta — overall strength, twacha aur agni ke liye. • Manasamitra vatakam — jab mann bahut chanchal ya stress mein ho.

🌸 Manobal ke Liye Thoda Prem:

Divya ji, kai baar maa banne ke baad hum sirf apne bacche ko priority dete hain — lekin ek healthy maa ke liye zaruri hai ki wo khud bhi andar se theek ho. Aapka gussa, chinta, aur mood swings — yeh aapka sharir keh raha hai ki usse ab sambhalne aur recharge hone ki zarurat hai.

Aap bas 15-20 minute har din khud ke liye nikaaliye — bina kisi guilt ke. Chahe wo shaant baithna ho, kuch padh lena ho ya bas aankhein band karke sans lene ka abhyas. Dheere dheere aapko khud hi mehsoos hoga ki aapka rang, aapki muskaan aur aapka man wapas aa raha hai.

Aakhri baat…

Yeh sab jo aap mehsoos kar rahi hain — woh na to ajeeb hai, na hi permanent. Yeh ek aisa daur hai jismein aapko khud par dhyan dene ki zarurat hai. Ayurved ke madhyam se, sahi bhojan, jeevan shaili, aur aushadhon ke saath aap apna purana swasthya wapas paa sakti hain.

Agar aap chaahein, to main aapki prakriti ke anuroop ek personalised plan bhi bana sakta hoon, jo aur adhik upyogi hoga.

Your concerns about weight, skin tone, and other symptoms like stress and irregular periods may all tie into your body’s postnatal recovery and overall dosha balance.

Firstly, for weight gain, your body needs nourishment. Focus on balancing your Agni, the digestive fire. Consuming a sattvic diet with freshly cooked meals including ghee, whole grains, nuts like almonds, and fruits like bananas, and mango can help nourish body tissues. Adding milk with a pinch of turmeric and a bit of jaggery can support weight gain. Ensure that you incorporate good quality proteins - legumes, lentils, and milk products. It’s also useful to space your meals, avoid heavy dinner, and not skip breakfast.

For stress relief, incorporating Brahmi or Ashwagandha might help, but only after consulting with a professional. Practicing Pranayama or simple yoga asanas like Shavasana or Vajrasana daily can help manage stress and mood swings. Consistency in your sleep schedule, with 7-8 hours of rest, supports mental clarity and emotional balance.

Irregular periods could be a result of Vata imbalance; regular meals and keeping warm is essential. Herbs like Shatavari may help regulate menstrual cycles, again, please consult a healthcare provider for personal adaptation. Drinking a warm glass of water with a pinch of cinnamon every morning might encourage regular cycles.

To boost your skin tone, consider adding foods rich in antioxidants, like seasonal berries, reflective of the Tarpaka Kapha for the skin, moisturize with natural oils like almond or coconut. Taking 5-10 min sun exposure daily in morning ensures Vitamin D without harsh UV rays.

It’s important to tailor these suggestions to fit your lifestyle and body constitution. I recommend seeking a personalized consultation for a plan that’ll bring the most balance to your life. Remember, each of these recommendations should be integrated with care and mindfulness to your current routines.

I am Dr Anurag Sharma, done with BAMS and also PGDHCM from IMS BHU, which honestly shaped a lot of how I approach things now in clinic. Working as a physician and also as an anorectal surgeon, I’ve got around 2 to 3 years of solid experience—tho like, every day still teaches me something new. I mainly focus on anorectal care (like piles, fissure, fistula stuff), plus I work with chronic pain cases too. Pain management is something I feel really invested in—seeing someone walk in barely managing and then leave with actual relief, that hits different. I’m not really the fancy talk type, but I try to keep my patients super informed, not just hand out meds n move on. Each case needs a bit of thinking—some need Ksharasutra or minor para surgical stuff, while others are just lifestyle tweaks and herbal meds. I like mixing the Ayurved principles with modern insights when I can, coz both sides got value really. It’s like—knowing when to go gentle and when to be precise. Right now I’m working hard on getting even better with surgical skills, but also want to help people get to me before surgery's the only option. Had few complicated cases where patience n consistency paid off—no shortcuts but yeah, worth it. The whole point for me is to actually listen first, like proper listen. People talk about symptoms but also say what they feel—and that helps in understanding more than any lab report sometimes. I just want to stay grounded in my work, and keep growing while doing what I can to make someone's pain bit less every day.

ChatGPT said: I am Dr. P. Prasad, and I’ve been in this field for 20+ years now, working kinda across the board—General Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology, Cardiology—you name it. Didn’t start out thinking I’d end up spanning that wide, but over time, each area sort of pulled me in deeper. And honestly, I like that mix. It lets me look at a patient not just through one lens but a whole system-wide view... makes more sense when treating something that won’t fit neatly in one category. I’ve handled everything from day-to-day stuff like hypertension, diabetes, or skin infections to more serious neuro and cardiac problems. Some cases are quick—diagnose, treat, done. Others take time, repeated check-ins, figuring out what’s really going on beneath those usual symptoms. And that’s where the detail matters. I’m pretty big on thorough diagnosis and patient education—because half the problem is ppl just not knowing what’s happening inside their own body. What’s changed for me over years isn’t just knowledge, it’s how much I lean on listening. If you miss what someone didn’t say, you might also miss their actual illness. And idk, after seeing it play out so many times, I do believe combining updated medical practice with basic empathy really shifts outcomes. Doesn’t have to be complicated... it just has to be consistent. I keep up with research too—new drugs, diagnostics, cross-specialty updates etc., not because it’s trendy, but cuz it’s necessary. Patients come in better read now than ever. You can’t afford to fall behind. The end goal’s the same tho—help them heal right, not just fast. Ethical practice, evidence-based, and sometimes just being there to explain what’s going on. That’s what I stick to.

Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of treating more than 100,000 patients through both in-person consultations and online platforms. My approach is deeply rooted in classical Ayurvedic diagnostics—such as Nadi Pariksha (pulse examination), Roga-Rogi Pariksha (patient and disease evaluation), and a personalized assessment of prakriti (body constitution). Over the years, I have successfully managed a wide range of health conditions across all age groups—from acute infections and digestive issues to chronic and lifestyle disorders such as arthritis, diabetes, respiratory ailments, hormonal imbalances, and autoimmune conditions. I place strong emphasis on individualized care, combining herbal formulations, Panchakarma detox therapies, and dietary and lifestyle guidance to ensure long-term healing and disease prevention. My extensive experience also includes addressing complex, chronic illnesses that require a deep understanding of both the pathology and the patient’s overall constitution. I have worked with patients who had previously struggled with little success in other systems of medicine, and have guided many toward sustainable recovery and improved quality of life. Whether treating elderly patients with degenerative disorders or young adults facing hormonal or metabolic challenges, I strive to offer care that is compassionate, comprehensive, and evidence-informed. My goal is to empower patients with Ayurvedic wisdom so they can take an active role in their healing journey. I continue to remain updated with the evolving landscape of integrative health and value the importance of patient education, ethical practice, and consistent follow-up. For me, Ayurveda is not just a profession, but a lifelong commitment to restoring balance and promoting well-being, one patient at a time.

Dr. Narendrakumar V Mishra
I have been practicing as a Consulting Ayurvedic Physician since 1990, with over three decades of clinical experience in treating a wide range of chronic and lifestyle-related health conditions. My core areas of focus include hair disorders, skin diseases, and lifestyle disorders such as diabetes, arthritis, and stress-related imbalances. Over the years, I have developed a patient-centric approach that emphasizes deep-rooted healing through authentic Ayurvedic principles. My treatment philosophy is based on understanding the unique constitution (prakriti) and imbalance (vikriti) of each patient, allowing me to craft individualized care plans using classical formulations, diet corrections, detox therapies (shodhana), and lifestyle modifications. Whether it’s persistent hair fall, recurring skin allergies, or long-term metabolic disorders, I aim to address the root cause rather than just suppress symptoms. In the management of lifestyle disorders like diabetes and arthritis, I integrate Ayurvedic medicines with structured dinacharya (daily routines) and ahar (dietary guidance), focusing on sustainable results and long-term wellness. I also work extensively with stress-related concerns, offering holistic strategies that incorporate mind-body practices, including meditation, herbal support, and counseling rooted in Ayurveda. With a strong foundation in traditional Ayurvedic texts and decades of hands-on experience, I remain committed to providing safe, natural, and effective healthcare solutions. My goal is to guide patients toward a balanced life, free from chronic ailments, through personalized treatment protocols that restore harmony to both body and mind.

Dr. Keerthana PV
I am an Ayurvedic doctor who kinda grew into this path naturally—my roots are in Kerala, and I did my internship at VPSV Ayurveda College in Kottakkal, which honestly was one of the most eye-opening stages of my life. That place isn’t just a college, it’s a deep well of real Ayurveda. The kind that’s lived, not just studied. During my time there, I didn’t just observe—I *practiced*. Diagnosing, treating, understanding the patient beyond their symptoms, all that hands-on stuff that textbooks don’t really teach. It’s where I learned the rhythm of classical Kerala Ayurveda, the art of pulse reading, and how Panchakarma ain’t just about detox but more about deep repair. I work closely with patients—always felt more like a guide than just a doctor tbh. Whether it's about fixing a chronic issue or preventing one from happening, I focus on the full picture. I give a lot of attention to diet (pathya), routine, mental clutter, and stress stuff. Counseling on these isn’t an ‘extra’—I see it as a part of healing. And not the preachy kind either, more like what works *for you*, your lifestyle, your space. Also yeah—I’m a certified Smrithi Meditation Consultant from Kottakkal Ayurveda School of Excellence. This kinda allowed me to mix mindfulness with medicine, which I find super important, especially in today’s distracted world. I integrate meditation where needed—some patients need a virechana, some just need to breathe better before they sleep. There’s no one-size-fits-all and I kinda like that part of my job the most. I don’t claim to know it all, but I listen deeply, treat with care, and stay true to the Ayurvedic principles I was trained in. My role feels less about ‘curing’ and more about nudging people back to their natural balance... it’s not quick or flashy, but it feels right.

Dr. Deepali Goswami
I am Dr. Deepali Goswami, BAMS graduate n working mainly around women's health. Right now m running my own clinic where i treat all kind of gyne problems—from irregular periods to PCOD, white discharge, fertility-related issues, menopausal symptoms n lot more that affects everyday life of females. I usually try to keep the language simple while dealing with patients cause honestly half of them come already confused or like really scared of what's happening inside their body... and if I use too much technical terms it just make it worse. I’ve been practicing in this space for couple of years now—don’t remember the exact month, maybe two or three year back? but anyway, what matters is I’ve seen how many of these problems get ignored till they turn serious. That’s something I feel strongly about. My goal is to help women understand their symptoms early and explain how Ayurveda can help gently but properly, whether it’s hormonal stuff or pain or cycle issues. I use classic Ayurvedic concepts like dosha analysis, ritucharya, n yoni vyapad chikitsa wherever it fits, but sometimes modern lifestyle really needs to be factored in too. Like if someone working night shift, no point telling them to wake up at 5am and do abhyanga daily—it won’t work. I’m practical about it. Anyway, I try my best to create a space where women feel heard. Lot of them said nobody actually explained them what’s going on before. And that’s like the saddest part. I feel my biggest strength is really just listening n tailoring the treatment to her routine, diet n stress pattern. Some cases are harder of course... things don’t always go fast, esp when it’s been neglected for yrs. But then Ayurveda’s not magic. It takes a little time—but results feel real n lasting when done right.

Dr. Hemanshu Mehta
I am Dr. Hemanshu—right now a 2nd year MD scholar in Shalya Tantra, which basically means I’m training deep into the surgical side of Ayurveda. Not just cutting and stitching, btw, but the whole spectrum of para-surgical tools like Agnikarma, Viddhakarma, and Kshara Karma... these aren’t just traditional, they’re super precise when done right. I’m not saying I know everything yet (still learning every day honestly), but I do have solid exposure in handling chronic pain issues, muscle-joint disorders, and anorectal conditions like piles, fissures, fistulas—especially where modern treatments fall short or the patient’s tired of going through loops. During clinical rounds, I’ve seen how even simple Kshara application or well-timed Agnikarma can ease stuff like tennis elbow or planter fasciatis, fast. But more than the technique, I feel the key is figuring what matches the patient’s constitution n lifestyle... like one-size-never-fits-all here. I try to go beyond the complaint—looking into their ahar, sleep, stress levels, digestion, and just how they feel in general. That part gets missed often. I honestly believe healing isn’t just a “procedure done” kind of thing. I try not to rush—spend time on pre-procedure prep, post-care advice, what diet might help the tissue rebuild faster, whether they’re mentally up for it too. And no, I don’t ignore pathology reports either—modern diagnostic tools help me stay grounded while applying ancient methods. It’s not this vs that, it’s both, when needed. My aim, tbh, is to become the kind of Ayurvedic surgeon who doesn't just do the work but understands why that karma or technique is needed at that point in time. Every case teaches me something new, and that curiosity keeps me moving.

Dr. Maitri Bhavesh Kumar Acharya
ChatGPT said: I am Dr. Maitri, currently in my 2nd year of MD in Dravyaguna, and yeah, I run my own Ayurvedic clinic in Ranoli where I’ve been seeing patients for 2 years now. Honestly, what pulled me into this path deeper is how powerful herbs really are—when used right. Not just randomly mixing churnas but actually understanding their rasa, virya, vipaka etc. That’s kinda my zone, where textbook knowledge meets day-to-day case handling. My practice revolves around helping people with PCOD, acne, dandruff, back pain, stiffness in knees or joints that never seem to go away. And I don’t jump to giving a long list of medicines straight away—first I spend time figuring out their prakriti, their habits, food cycle, what triggers what… basically all the small stuff that gets missed. Then comes the plan—herbs (single or compound), some diet reshuffling, and always some lifestyle nudges. Sometimes they’re tiny, like sleep timing. Sometimes big like proper seasonal detox. Being into Dravyaguna helps me get into the depth of herbs more confidently. I don’t just look at the symptom—I think okay what guna will counter this? Should the drug be snigdha, ushna, tikta? Is there a reverse vipaka that’ll hurt the agni? I ask these questions before writing any combo. That’s made a huge diff in outcomes. Like I had this case of chronic urticaria that would flare up every week, and just tweaking the herbs based on sheetala vs ushna nature... helped calm the system in 3 weeks flat. Not magic, just logic. I also work with women who are struggling with hormonal swings, mood, delayed periods or even unexplained breakouts. When hormones go haywire, the skin shows, digestion slows, and mind gets foggy too. I keep my approach full-circle—cleansing, balancing, rejuvenating. No quick fixes, I tell them early on. What I’m hoping to do more of now is make Ayurveda feel practical. Not overwhelming. Just simple tools—ahara, vihara, aushadha—used consistently, with some trust in the body’s own healing. I’m still learning, still refining, but honestly, seeing people feel in control of their health again—that’s what keeps me rooted to this.

Dr. Meenakshi
I am currently working as an Associate Professor and Ayurvedic Consultant at a pretty well-known Ayurvedic college here in Karnataka. This mix of teaching and clinical practice kinda keeps both sides of me alive—like, one foot always in the Shastra and the other in actual patient care. I guess that’s what I like about it... I get to teach budding Vaidyas from texts like Charaka n all, but also sit with real patients facing chronic issues that don’t come with textbook clarity. In the classroom, I guide both UG and PG students—helping them actually *get* the link between Ayurvedic theory and practical work. Sometimes we’re deep into shloka discussions, other days we’re talking about how to handle a tricky IBS case or PCOD patient during rounds. I’m also pretty involved in research and department stuff—like case presentations, lit reviews, workshops, that sorta thing. It keeps the learning loop going, for me too tbh. On the clinical side, I usually deal with chronic lifestyle disorders, MSK problems, digestive stuff like Grahani and Amlapitta, female health issues, even some skin cases—each one needing its own pace, its own kind of attention. My consults start with a full read of a person’s Prakriti and Vikriti—without that, no use jumping to meds or therapy. I like building long-term plans with people—not just give herbs and send them off. Detox (Panchakarma), Rasayana, Dinacharya tweaks, food habits—it’s all part of it. I do believe education and prevention matter more than ppl think. Like—if someone actually *understands* their imbalance, they’re likelier to stick with care instead of looking for shortcuts. I also team up with fellow docs n students for collabs, paper reviews, sometimes just to debate the classics vs clinical questions. That exchange helps, makes me feel like I'm contributing back to Ayurveda, not just practicing it.
