Back acne, or "yauvanapidika" in Ayurveda, might be driven by imbalances primarily in the pitta dosha, connected to excess heat in the body. It’s vital to manage this heat. Drinking fresh aloe vera juice (around 20 ml) every morning on an empty stomach could help cool your system. Also, applying a paste made from sandalwood and neem powder mixed with rose water might help to pacify the inflammation on your back. Using a gentle cleanser with turmeric as an ingredient when washing the area can reduce blockages and purify your skin. For nail fungus and dry peeling skin, consider soaking your feet in warm water infused with a few drops of tea tree oil for around 10-15 minutes daily. After soaking, gently pat dry and apply a paste made from a blend of turmeric and neem oil onto the affected areas to combat the fungal infection. Make sure to wear breathable footwear, and keep your feet dry throughout the day. Premature graying of hair can often be related to both pitta and vata imbalances. Consuming fresh amla juice (Indian gooseberry) or taking it in powdered form daily helps nourish the hair roots and to maintain the natural color of your hair. Incorporating a regular head massage with coconut or bhringaraj oil might also help stimulate blood flow and strengthen your hair follicles. Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, particularly in your palms, can be related to pitta and kapha imbalances. Make sure you are staying hydrated by sipping water throughout the day and including coriander and mint leaves in your diet to aid detoxification. You might also consider meditation or pranayama practices to calm the nervous system, which regulates sweating. Lifestyle modifications include avoiding overly spicy or oily foods, staying hydrated, incorporating cooling practices into your daily routine, and ensuring a regular sleep pattern to support overall health and well-being. If these issues persist or worsen, please consult an ayurvedic specialist or healthcare provider for further personalized guidance.
