Stomach pain after 1 week after periods - #23502

My daughter 17 years she is getting pain not during periods after 7 to 10 days during periods sometimes she gets nausea sometimes she is good we took scan dr told not to worry this is because of ovaluation... And sometimes it may be stress... But she is getting pain what is you suggestion.

1. Diet: During this time, she should consume warm, cooked meals that are easy to digest. Foods like kichari (a mixture of rice and lentils), lightly spiced with ginger, cumin, and a bit of ghee, can be soothing to the digestive system and calming for Vata.

2. Hydration: Encourage her to drink warm water throughout the day. This aids digestion and keeps the body hydrated, which is crucial during any stressor.

3. Herbs & Teas: You might consider giving her a cup of ginger tea. Boil a few slices of fresh ginger in water for about 10 minutes and let her sip on it slowly. Ginger is not only great for soothing pain but can also help with nausea.

4. Routine & Rest: Ensure she maintains a regular daily routine, sleeps on time, and manages stress through relaxing activities like yoga or meditation. Breathing exercises, such as pranayama, can help balance Vata and reduce stress levels.

5. Warmth: Applying a warm compress to her abdomen when she experiences pain can offer relief. Warm oil massage around the lower abdomen might also soothe discomfort if she’s comfortable with that.

6. Consultation: If her symptoms persist or worsen, a consultation with an Ayurvedic practitioner can offer more personalized guidance and may prescribe herbal formulations based on her dosha constitution.
