Experiencing a decrease in libido and erectile difficulties, particularly alongside a condition such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), isn't uncommon. Several Ayurvedic strategies can be explored to gently address these issues in harmony with your current treatment. Firstly, we need to consider your dosha, given your symptoms, it seems there might be an imbalance in the Vata and Pitta doshas. BPH may exacerbate vitiation in these doshas concern. Begin by incorporating stress management techniques, as stress can aggravate dosha imbalances leading to further reduce in libido. Simple daily practices like meditation or pranayama (focused on anulom vilom and bhramari) can help in balancing mental status. Focusing on your diet, adapt an approach that pacifies Vata and Pitta. Include warm, nourishing meals that are easy to digest. Foods rich in zinc and magnesium such as pumpkin seeds, almonds, beans and lentils are particularly beneficial for reproductive health. Aim to reduce extremely spicy, sour and excessively oily foods as they can further imbalance Pitta. Herbal support might include Ashwagandha and Shatavari, known to rejuvenate and balance. Take these after consulting with a qualified practitioner who might suggest a precise formulation or dosage. Gokshura can also be effective specifically for urinary support and enhancing vitality. Regular physical exercise, like walking or yoga, helps maintain circulation and overall health. In yoga, postures that improve pelvic strength and flexibility, like Setu Bandhasana and Bhujangasana, might assist. It’s also worth consulting the physician who prescribed URAL BPH capsules to discuss your symptoms comprehensively. Sometimes medications linked with BPH can influence libido and erectile function. This comprehensive approach, balancing Ayurvedic practices with your current medical regimen, may restore balance and vitality.
