can women eat shilajit - #24910

Henry

I am really confused about something and hoping someone here can help me out. For the last few weeks, I have been reading about shilajit and its benefits, and I can't help but wonder, can women eat shilajit? I came across some articles saying it's good for men and boosts testosterone, but what about us ladies? I’ve been feeling super drained lately, like no energy at all and my mood swings are honestly ridiculous. I tried asking my doctor, but I didn’t get a clear answer, just a shrug. I always wanted to try shilajit because I heard it helps with energy and maybe even more, but I don’t know if it’s safe for women. Like, should I be worried? Is there any specific reason women shouldn't eat shilajit or anything? If anyone has info or personal experience, that would be great! Just trying to figure out if shilajit is something I should consider or if it’s better to steer clear from it.

Women can definitely take shilajit, no problem there. Interestingly, shilajit, a natural substance found in the rocks of the Himalayas, acts as a rejuvenating agent and helps support overall vitality. In Ayurveda, it is considered a “Rasayana,” meaning it has incredible properties to invigorate and sustain health and wellness. While it does support testosterone levels, its benefits extend beyond that and are not restricted to mees only. For your energy levels and mood swings, it could be really helpful. Shilajit is known to enhance physical performance by improving strength and stamina, which might be just what you need to tackle fatigue. It also plays a role in stabilizing mood as it balances certain hormones in the body. Now, the most important thing when incorporating shilajit is to ensure it suits your specific constitution or “Prakriti” and addresses any potential dosha imbalances you might have. Start with a small dose, like a pea-sized amount, and mix it into a warm liquid, such as milk or water, in the morning or as advised by an Ayurvedic practitioner. Be consistent with its intake, consume it on an empty stomach, or maybe twenty minutes before meals, to maximize its absorption and efficacy. However, the quality of shilajit is really important. Make sure you choose a reputable brand, properly sourced, to avoid contaminants. If you experience any adverse reactions like allergies or digestive issues, stop immediately and consult an Ayurvedic specialist. They can tailor advice to align with your individual health needs. One more thing - if you experience ongoing fatigue or mood issues, have it checked out, as sometimes underlying conditions might need to be addressed alongside Ayurvedic ideas.
