hello Anjali kaur, Aap jo problem batā rahe hain, usme do mukhya cheezein dikh rahi hain — erectile dysfunction (kabhi-kabhi sex ke dauraan erection na hona) aur delayed or absent ejaculation (kabhi semen ka discharge na hona). Iske alāwa aapka sexual desire bhi kam ho gaya hai, jo ki stress, hormonal imbalance, vajan zyada hone, ya sharīrik thakān ke karan ho sakta hai. Kabhi-kabhi erection bina kisi reason ke bhi ho jata hai, lekin zarurat ke waqt nahi ho pata iska matlab hai ki man aur sharīr ke beech talmel thoda bigad gaya hai. Yeh sab symptoms vajikarana kshaya ya shukra dhatu kshaya ki taraf sanket dete hain, jise Ayurved mein poshak treatment se sudhāra ja sakta hai.

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) is a complex condition that mainly affects women and involves the reproductive organs. In Ayurveda, this can be related to vitiation of doshas, particularly Pitta and Vata, which can lead to inflammation and imbalance. Addressing PID involves both internal cleansing and external therapies to restore balance and strengthen immunity.
Firstly, adjust your diet to calm Pitta and Vata doshas. Incorporate cooling, hydrating foods like cucumber, melons, and greens. Avoid hot, spicy, and sour foods, as these can aggravate the Pitta dosha. Warm, wholesome meals that are easy to digest help maintain Agni (digestive fire), which is crucial for getting rid of toxins.
Include herbs such as Shatavari and Ashwagandha; Shatavari is known for its cooling and nourishing properties, while Ashwagandha helps in boosting vitality and reducing fatigue. Turmeric, with its anti-inflammatory action, may also benefit in controlling the inflammation associated with PID.
Consider using Douching with herbal decoctions; prepare a decoction with Triphala or Neem for cleansing purposes. Practicing Yoga and Pranayama can also aid in strengthening pelvic muscles and reducing stress, inflammation in long term. Specific asanas like Baddha Konasana (Reclining Butterfly Pose) and Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose) enhance circulation and soothe reproductive organs.
It’s crucial to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for personal elaboration, especially for therapies like Panchakarma (detoxification), which might require professional guidance. Consider Abhyanga (self-massage with herbal oils) which helps balance doshas and reduce stress.
Besides these measures, ensure excellent hygiene practices and avoid synthetic fabrics, tight-fitting clothing which could contribute to irritation. It is vital to monitor symptoms carefully, and if you experience severe pain, discomfort, fever or unusual discharge, please consult a professional for immediate attention. Balancing the doshas takes time, but integration of these practices can offer long-term support and relief without harmful side effects.
Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, or PID, can certainly be a serious issue, and addressing it early is key to prevent further complications. From a Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective, balancing doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta, is crucial for managing PID-related symptoms and promoting healing. Before moving forward, though, PID can develop complications that may require immediate allopathic intervention if severe. Seek medical care promptly if you notice symptoms like fever, severe abdominal pain, or abnormal discharge.
For managing PID with Ayurveda, focus on soothing the body’s Vata and Pitta doshas. This can help in reducing inflammation and supporting tissue healing. Here’s a practical approach:
1. Diet: Incorporate more cooked, warm, and easy-to-digest foods to support your digestive fire, or “agni”. Include foods such as steamed vegetables, khichdi (a mixture of rice and lentils), and soups. Avoid spicy, oily, and processed foods as they can further aggravate Pitta.
2. Herbal Support: Turmeric stands out for its anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Consider having a pinch of turmeric in warm milk daily to help reduce inflammation.
3. Hydration: Drink warm water throughout the day to aid in detoxification. You can also sip on herbal teas like ginger or cumin tea to support digestion and reduce Vata imbalance.
4. LifeStyle: Incorporate practices like moderate walking or gentle yoga to promote movement within the body which may support healing but be mindful not to overexert yourself.
Remember, while Ayurveda can provide support, it’s essential to work in conjunction with an allopathic specialist to ensure compliance with any necessary medical treatments specific to PID. It’s complicated, but finding a personalized balance will help you move towards health and vitality.
