hello mahalakshmi ,

I Really understand the pain behind your words. When you say “I was very cute once but now I am with ulcer, skin issues, constipation and restlessness,” what you’re actually expressing is that your inner balance has shifted, and it is reflecting both on your body and mind. Ayurveda always considers beauty, glow, clarity of skin, proper digestion, and calmness of mind as outcomes of a balanced agni (digestive fire), proper dhatu (tissue) nourishment, and a sattvic state of mind.

Let’s go step by step so you understand why this happened and how you can reverse it

Why this is happening

Ulcer & constipation → point to weak and irregular Agni (digestive fire) + accumulation of Ama (toxic residue).

Skin issues → are often due to Pitta imbalance (ulcer, burning, irritability) combined with Vata imbalance (dryness, constipation, restlessness).

Restlessness → indicates Vata dosha aggravation in the mind (chala guna – excessive movement of thoughts).

Loss of glow/cuteness → happens when the Rasa dhatu (nutritive fluid that nourishes skin and tissues) is not properly formed due to poor digestion.

So the problem starts in your digestion and lifestyle, and spreads outward to skin, bowels, and even emotions.

Step 1: Reset digestion (Ama Pachana)

Take Trikatu churna (pippali, maricha, shunti) ½ tsp with honey once daily after lunch for 7 days. Warm water sipping throughout the day. Avoid cold drinks, heavy fried foods, excess sugar.

Step 2: Correct bowels & heal ulcers

Avipattikara churna 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water (for acidity + constipation). Yashtimadhu churna with warm milk morning and evening for ulcer healing and soothing Pitta.

Step 3: Rebuild blood and skin glow

Manjisthadi kashayam 15 ml with equal water twice daily before food (blood purifier, skin clarity). Sariva syrup or Khadeera khanda can also help if itching/rashes are there. Include soaked black raisins, pomegranate, ghee, and fresh seasonal fruits daily.

Step 4: Calm restlessness and mind

Brahmi or Shankhpushpi capsule/tablet at bedtime. 10 minutes of slow alternate nostril breathing daily. Early sleep (before 11 pm) to reduce Vata aggravation.

Step 5: External care

Apply Kumkumadi tailam at night to the face after mild cleansing. Abhyanga (self-massage with warm sesame or coconut oil) twice weekly before bath for calming Vata and restoring skin texture.

Investigations recommended

CBC (check hemoglobin, anemia can worsen skin and ulcers). Serum Vitamin D3, B12, and iron studies. Stool occult blood test (if ulcers are gastric/duodenal). Thyroid profile.

You are only 25 — your skin, digestion, and calmness can all be restored if you work on digestion first, then nourish, and finally calm the mind. Your “originality” is not lost — it is only covered under layers of imbalance. Once your Agni and mind are healed, your glow and charm will naturally come back.

Warm regards, Dr. Karthika

At 25, your digestion, skin, and energy are all connected. Constipation and ulcer tendency often disturb the system and show on the skin too. Try to eat simple home food, avoid spicy or oily items, add more fruits, vegetables, and soaked nuts, and keep yourself hydrated. Regular sleep and light exercise or yoga will also help reduce restlessness.

If things don’t improve within 2–3 months, it’s better to check with some tests:

CBC, Hemoglobin, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D Thyroid profile (TSH, T3, T4) Liver function test Stool routine/occult blood Ultrasound abdomen if pain or ulcer symptoms continue

To regain your natural health and elegance, understanding your body’s unique balance is essential. In Ayurveda, skin issues, constipation, and restlessness might be connected to an imbalance in the Pitta dosha, which can manifest as excessive heat in the body. Here’s a detailed plan to help you restore harmony, focusing on diet, lifestyle, and simple remedies.

Start with your diet. Emphasizing foods that pacify Pitta is crucial. Incorporate more cooling foods like cucumbers, melons, and leafy greens. Avoid hot, sour, and oily foods, which can aggravate Pitta. Opt for meals that are light, cooked, and warm to ease digestion. Use ghee instead of oils and incorporate spices like coriander, fennel, and turmeric in your cooking. These help reduce inflammation and calm the skin.

Hydration is vital; aim for 8-10 glasses of lukewarm water daily. An ayurvedic remedy for constipation involves soaking a spoonful of fennel seeds overnight in a glass of water, drink it on an empty stomach. This balances digestion and cleanses your system gently.

Mindful lifestyle changes will further help in reducing restlessness. Practice Pranayama and meditation for 10-15 minutes daily. This stabilizes your mind and reduces stress. Consider engaging in calming activities like yoga during early morning. It’s a good practice to keep an early bedtime and rise with the sun, which aligns with your body’s natural rhythms.

For topical skin issues, consider applying aloe vera gel or rose water. These soothes and cool the skin. If ulcers are a problem, try drinking a cup of freshly squeezed bitter gourd juice or a glass of warm buttermilk with turmeric to reduce acidity.

Revisiting these natural therapies requires commitment, and it’s crucial to monitor progress. However, if symptoms persist!, seek immediate medical attention as they could signal deeper issues. Balancing the mind-body connection through Ayurveda can be a transformative journey, keep in mind that perseverance and consistency are key.

Based on the symptoms you’ve described - ulcer, skin issues, constipation, and restlessness - it sounds like there might be an imbalance in your doshas, particularly likely involving pitta and vata. Let’s focus on some key steps from the Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective that can naturally help restore balance.

First, for the ulcers and skin issues, consider cooling down excess pitta. Incorporating more cooling foods into your diet is essential. Favor foods like cucumber, aloe vera juice, and bitter greens such as kale or spinach. Avoid spicy, fried, or overly salty foods which aggravate pitta.

For constipation and vata imbalance, encourage routine and groundedness. Start your day with a warm glass of water to stimulate digestion. Include healthy oils in your diet like sesame oil, as they can lubricate the intestines and aid in smoother digestion. Moreover, add fiber-rich foods, such as papaya, to your meals.

Restlessness often ties back to vata imbalance. A steady daily routine with regular sleep patterns can help balance vata. Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. Incorporating mindfulness techniques, like deep breathing or gentle yoga, can bring calm and focus.

Finally, for digestive issues, pay close attention to your agni (digestive fire). A sluggish or excessively strong agni can both result in various health issues. Chew your food thoroughly and sit down for your meals without distractions.

Please, if any symptoms become severe or persistent, seek a healthcare professional to ensure there’s no underlying conditions that require more immediate medical attention.
